Grosse Anlage aber in die Jahre gekommen
Aufgrund der Grösse ist der Zusammenhang der Anlage nur schwierig zu erfassen. Die Anlagen sind alt und entsprechen nicht mehr dem Standard moderner Freizeitanlagen. Traumhafte schöne Lage in einem Landschaftspark.

Overall my wife and I had a good stay. We stayed in building 20, apt. 1183. We could hear noise on the otherside of the door so thin walls. Room is a bit small. Plenty of towels in bathroom . Outdoor furniture would have been great to sit on to look at golf course or at night just to chill but light is very dim at night and chairs were metal, so they were kind of rusty and dirty. Would be great if complex would keep some cushions on inside of room to use for outdoor chairs.

We stayed in room 1091, building 19. For $400 per night, it was underwhelming. The place needs a major facelift and our room smelled like smoke or must, or something old. Carpet was dirty, cabinet in the kitchen was falling apart, and baby birds have taken up in the chimney which kept us up all night. This place is also not walkable which took me by surprise. If you think you can just stroll over to the pool, you are wrong. You have to call for a golf cart to take you places. The carts were relatively fast but just plan on tipping the entire day. Overall, the price is a bit outrageous for the condition of the rooms.

It was a lovely place. My only complaint was that the walls are pretty thin and was really noisy with a family next door. We would like to visit again when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy more of the amenities. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet and view of the James River.

I never complain, ever! For me to write a bad review or even go to management with problems never happens but.... The room smelled like baby diapers - really. Left my door open and A.C. on which helped enough so I could stay in the room. Then discovered crumbs all over the carpet (I have never encountered this) and mold in the bathroom. Soap dish was caked with old soap. Garbage from the previous guest was left by the housekeeper next to the door. I have never felt the need to keep my shoes beside my bed because I didn't want to walk on the carpet, nor have I felt the need to constantly wash my hands because I know everything I touch is dirty/germy. Sadly, this is what I had to do at Kingsmill. I have owned successful businesses and I know that people who are honest enough to share their gripes with me is much more valuable than compliments. So I am hoping Kingsmill management will feel the same way too.

I think the stay was great but the only things that I wish were better was quality of room verse price. Everything was alittle over priced for quality. Refrigerator in room did not work well. We were on bottom floor and the amount of noise that you could hear from upstairs interrupted our sleep. The body wash was empty and bathroom floor had hair on it. Restaurant on campus was ok. Service was really slow and we were told because of wedding parties but they should have carried enough staff to service everyone appropriately. People were friendly but overall we would have enjoyed better quality for the price.

The room was very spacious, the staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Loved the quietness, the landscape, the wonderful nature and wild animals, the symphony of birds each morning. The location is amazing, the pickleball, bike trails, great areas and sidewalks for walking and enjoyment and the presence of security.

Location was good unfortunately the room we stayed in was very dusty , my kid woke up with a rash due to the dust . The bathroom definitely can be updated . The bed was uncomfortably. The breakfast buffet was good .

Rooms were not up to date faucet handle broken My friend also stood in another room and said that there was very little hot water and some faucet was also broken. The outside is beautiful and deceiving cause the rooms were so not up to date and they were tiny. Not worth the money

While the end of our trip resulted in a more enjoyable experience the beginning was certainly less than expected. The photos listed for the property and for the rooms listed, they were not nearly as nice, clean, or appealing. The first room we were placed in had a mildew scent, was cramped, had a horrible view, the tub was not clean, it was nothing like the photos listed. The second room we were upgraded to was much nicer, was definitely more like the photograph we saw on the site. However, we couldn't get into our room because the door wouldn't unlock with our keys only the master copy. This resulted in us waiting 1.5 hours before getting settled in and thankfully they were gracious enough to upgrade us a second time. Our final room was much nicer, roomy, and very relaxing. We did have some issues with the upstairs visitors stomping all night long, waking us up at 3 AM continuously causing our pup to bark. The pool/hot tub situation was quite disappointing due to the fact that other guests, (not so much the accommodations). There were people with alcohol, diving in 3ft of water, children jumping in the hot tub, someone peeing in the hot tub on purpose, etc. The property is beautiful, unfortunately, we didn't explore it as much, but we did enjoy our overall stay on Saturday and Sunday. I am very grateful for the way the staff took the time to accommodate us and ensure we had an enjoyable stay.

Where should I start. After we checked in, we went out for dinner. When we returned to are room. The TV did not work and the toilet keep running water after flushing. Tried to use the phone within room to call front desk. The phone was broken. Tried to reach front desk with cell phone and no answer. Drove to main office and asked for another room. It was 9:30pm now. They have use another room. Room two the back door would not lock and was broke. The GFCI receptacle in bathroom did not work broken. We tried to get ice from ice machine next door and was broken. The next morning at 9:00am tried to use indoor pool. Was told we could not use because members were having a yoga class. What else could go wrong. I will never return to this property again. It was my birthday weekend.

When we got there door was open because it did not properly latch. Toilet handle needed to be pulled up (had kids with us which was impossible) and it ran alot. Phones did not work.

I asked what was included in the add on daily resort fee. I was told Wi-Fi, pool and fitness center. These are the standard amenities in a hotel!!!! I didn’t use the pool nor fitness center. Outdoor pool was closed.
