The entire property was very clean and nicely maintained. The overall ambiance of the Inn is one of an older classic Inn. The Inn Keeper met us in the parking lot and assisted us with our luggage. In the morning he took the time to discuss our next destination and offer alternative routes of travel. Would definitely stay here again

The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and comfortable, but the building has rather squeaky floors beneath the carpeting. As I result, I could hear every squeaky footstep of the people in the room on the floor above me. The motel is located between towns, so you have to drive a several miles to a restaurant. The inn, however, is close to beautiful scenery.

Jason and Beth were fantastic hosts providing great accommodations, an excellent continental breakfast with coffee, tea, juice, cereal and an assortment of muffins and bread for toasting, clean and comfy rooms. They are great conversationalists providing good information for places of interest, dining and attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and evening conversations. This is not the Mountain View Grand, but it is a beautiful local family run Inn, who make every effort to provide a warm and comfortable stay.

Very affordable stay, and you get what you pay! The inn keeper was very helpful and accommodating and the location was gorgeous but the room itself needed some love. The bathroom in particular was a bit challenging (clean but very old) and the shower head was just gross. We could hear everything in that room including people going up and down the stairs and every car passing by the country road. I also wish the door had a better lock, but we didn’t have any issues during our visit. Breakfast was ok, but I’m not sure we’d pick this location again, since it wasn’t as nice as the pictures.

The inn was well maintained while the overall esthetic allowed you to step back in time. We had a campfire at night with, marshmellows and actual room keys. The owner was always on sight and very helpful. Its a nice cozy stay.

Absolutely. I’d keep the personal story, but let it breathe a little more: We had a wonderful stay at the Barron Brook Inn! My husband and I stayed with his parents, who were visiting from Poland, and I wanted to find somewhere warm and homey rather than a more upscale, impersonal hotel. This place was absolutely perfect. The inn is charming, comfortable, and full of New England character. We felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived, and the owners were warm and friendly. My in-laws especially loved the cozy atmosphere, and I was so happy to give them the kind of authentic New England experience I had hoped for. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Loved the location, decor, and cleanliness. Friendly and helpful staff. Went above and beyond by offering us a breakfast item since we’d be leaving early morning for another hike before breakfast start time. The only blip was operating the TV. We were desperate to veg and watch a movie after hiking a 4000 footer. You need to download an app on your phone and “cast” it to the TV. The owner was super helpful and trying to figure out the issue but it wasn’t solved. It would’ve been nice to just turn on the TV and watch it. If you need an instruction list for a TV, it’s too complicated. Maybe others will have an easier time

We had a very enjoyable time. Learned a lot from the owner who helped me get my first moose sighting. He was very knowledgeable about the area and even helped map out our motorcycle ride for the day. 100% would recommend!

Had a wonderful one-night stay. Room was clean and well-appointed. Jason made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Enjoyed breakfast and coffee on the back deck. The property was beautiful... we walked down to the stream/beaver pond to check out the view, and so many birds were singing - we counted 27 species! Definitely recommend this place... we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Clean is the only good thing I can say. Old crooked floors. Sent us to one room but it had a cleaning cart in the bathroom so they changed us to another room. No elevator. Not only did we have to carry our luggage down the stairs but we gad to go up a half flight before we could go down. Then of course the reverse when we left. Breakfast was a joke.

Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Owner Jason was very friendly. Great location Drawbacks were windows had sheer drapes so sunshine at 5 am. And room was on street side so though little traffic could hear cars going by. Bathroom sink dripped. Unfortunately we decided against staying our second night since we didn't want to be woken by the early daybreak.

My two daughters and I had a fantastic stay. Great location for visiting Santa's Village. Friendly staff, clean and safe accommodations, and comfortables rooms. We are very excited to visit again next year!
