„This cottage was the perfect place for a weekend getaway in the Charlottesville area! It has a nice secluded feel and yet is close to wineries, grocery stores, etc. We were not bothered at all by the train or cars on 250. The house itself is even more charming than in the pictures with carefully selected touches for a tea room vibe. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Mary was very responsive to questions and all instructions were very helpful. I would definitely love to return!“

„The Plainfield Cottage is a perfect getaway. We came in for a graduation and were quite busy. However, each time I stepped into the cottage, it felt peaceful, bright and clean. A great retreat to unwind and relax at. Cathy was very attentive on any needs we needed, as there were few because it was well stocked.“

„A friend and I stayed at this fine cottage over the weekend. We came to do some astrophotography at Big Meadows and didn’t feel like camping with our photography gear. So we stayed at this Cottage. Beds where comfortable, there was bottles of water in frig for us, kuerig coffee , and a box of chocolate chip cookies for us to eat. It was a very clean place easy to relax in. „This was a family gathering to celebrate a UVA graduation. We wanted to stay away from the craziness of Charlottesville. This house was perfect! Everyone in our party raved about how cute, comfy, well laid a house it is! Very well stocked - PLENTY of wine glasses! lol We hit 4 wineries and a brewery (2x) during our stay - all with/in a 5 mile radius! We would highly reccomend and would stay again - for longer - in the future! “

It was clean and well stocked. They even provided firewood for the firepit on the great back patio. It had the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. All the furniture was comfortable.
