„This cottage was the perfect place for a weekend getaway in the Charlottesville area! It has a nice secluded feel and yet is close to wineries, grocery stores, etc. We were not bothered at all by the train or cars on 250. The house itself is even more charming than in the pictures with carefully selected touches for a tea room vibe. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Mary was very responsive to questions and all instructions were very helpful. I would definitely love to return!“

„Very nice quiet cabin in the Shenandoah valley. Perfect location while we were in town for a wedding. The cabin --could-- sleep 4, but be advised the upper bedroom is accessed only w a steep, long ladder. It's not a good sleeping place if you're bringing children. But for the two of us it was perfect.“

„Wonderful experience. Ferne was very hospitable and she made sure we had everything we needed. View is breathtaking and it was very quiet and peaceful. Definitely a great get-away with a wonderful host.“

„This location is beautiful! It is very relaxing whether you are by the lake, the pool, or just walking around the property. The fishing was a lot of fun and there’s a good variety of fish. Also, there is a reason most reviews comment on how nice Tabby is. She is a very lovely person! The space was very roomy and clean. It was myself, my husband, and our two kids, and we fit very nicely in the space. I think the coffee bar was my favorite! I would very happily stay there again! “

„The home was perfect and was in a great spot. I enjoyed the walk to Yorktown, the history, and plus the food. If you get a chance make sure you go Farmers market on Saturday’s. Nice walk and there was some amazing things at the farmers market. “

„Very secluded and private. Cabin was very nice, comfortable for 2 people.Walk to dock through woods isnt too bad. Weather was sunny our whole trip so did not have any issues with power, generator did kick in every morning for a little bit. Make sure you bring flaslights or some other outdoor lighting, especially if you have dogs because it is very dark at night with only the light from the porch available. Luckily we were prepared. The wifi wasnt working and didnt find it until the last day but ...
