Amazing Cottage Big Cedar Lake

Welcome to our charmingly remodeled lakefront cottage on Big Cedar Lake in West Bend.

Bedrooms: 3 (7 beds total)
Master bedroom: queen size bed and attached upstairs patio. The second bedroom has queen bunk beds and a full. The third bedroom has queen bunk beds and a twin. Although the bedrooms are smaller, new beds, mattresses, and bedding ensure a cozy and relaxing night’s sleep.

Guests: maximum of 7

Pets: Maximum of 1 dog allowed. A $25/night pet fee will be added to your stay.

Location: On Big Cedar Lake. Very close to Little Switzerland ski hill. Less than 40 minutes from Milwaukee. 2 hours from Chicago

The Lake: Big Cedar Lake is a fully recreational lake. 1.45 miles and reaches a maximum depth of 105 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a private boat landing. Known for its amazing beauty and great fishing, guests of all ages will enjoy reeling in Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. For those who enjoy going out on the lake and getting into the water, Big Cedar Lake is home to one of the most popular sand bars in the Midwest.

The property offers 100 feet of frontage, a pier, swimming in the lake, and family fun activities as well as nearby access to miles of biking and walking trails.

You will love the warm and cozy feel of our newly remodeled and sparkling clean lake house which incorporates shiplap and wood elements throughout. The adorable main living space features homey, traditional furnishings, and an open layout makes it easy to get comfortable with friends and family while you enjoy spectacular views of the lake.

There are plenty of your favorite classic board games, puzzles, and playing cards for some old school, unplugged fun as well. You will also find a large wall-mounted TV in the living room which includes Spectrum Cable and an interactive smart tv to sign into your favorite apps. We also offer FREE Wi-Fi to all of our guests.

When you enter the kitchen, you’ll be greeted by a warm ambient glow from our accent lighting. You will find it well stocked with all of the pots, pans, glassware, and serving utensils needed during your stay. In addition to the standard appliances, we also offer a blender, microwave, and Keurig for all of your caffeine needs. Speaking of coffee, there is nothing quite like watching the sunrise over the lake while you enjoy your hot cup of java on the deck.

For dinner, be sure to join us at Timmer's Resort / Restaurant, just up the lawn from the cottage. Serving the best cocktails and food on the lake, you can sit down to dine in the dining room or just join us in the bar. In the summer, the patio overlooking the lake is a perfect way to enjoy a summer meal, and Sunday brunch is always a hit.

To ensure a comfortable stay for all of our guests, we have installed new HVAC units for hot summer days and cold winter nights. We also have a washer and dryer in the mud room off the kitchen.

There is plenty of room in the spacious yard for outdoor games, and we provide 2 gas grills for outdoor cooking.

Finally, a vacation on the lake would not be complete without a fire pit under the stars. You’ll have ample room around the fire to enjoy incredible lake views, share stories with friends and family, tell spooky campfire stories, listen to some tunes, and of course cook up some classic and gooey s'mores. Supplies for s'mores are in the sunroom close to the doorway to the deck.
