PRIVATE BOOTSDOCK UND NUR 8 TREPPEN ZUM WASSER

Unser Haus liegt am Big Tallapoosa River, nicht weit vom Highway entfernt. 48 Brücke. Wir haben über 250 Meter Wasserfront in einer ruhigen Bucht. Unser privater Bootssteg hat Liegestühle, einen Sonnenschirm oben, einen Bootsbeleg und eine Sitzecke unten. Die Nachbarschaft BOAT LAUNCH ist direkt gegenüber! Die Hauptebene unseres Hauses ist ein großer Bereich mit Esstisch und Stühlen sowie eine Theke mit Hockern. Ein weiterer Bereich ist dem Fernsehen mit Flachbildschirm gewidmet, während Sie auf dem Ledersofa und anderen bequemen Stühlen sitzen. Die Küche ist auch auf dieser Ebene mit High-End-Geräten aus Edelstahl. Wir haben fast alles, was Sie in einer Küche brauchen könnten: Mixer, Backbleche, Slow Cooker. Auf dieser Ebene befindet sich ein komplettes Badezimmer mit Fliesenböden und Granitoberflächen.

Diese Hauptebene besteht aus 3 Wänden aus Fenstern und Hickory-Holzböden. Von dieser Ebene führen französische Türen auf das überdachte Deck mit Blick auf den See. Es gibt Stühle für schattiges Sitzen, während Sie beim Angeln, Skifahren und Schwimmen zusehen. Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer und ein Vollbad. Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist ziemlich groß mit einer Waschküche und einem begehbaren Kleiderschrank. Es gibt ein Kingsize-Bett, einen großen Ledersessel und einen Flachbildfernseher sowie einen Kleiderschrank. Dieses Zimmer verfügt über Fenster mit Seeblick und französische Türen, die zu einer Terrasse führen. Das zweite Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett und zwei Einzelbetten. Die Tür zwischen dem vollen Schlafzimmer und den Etagenbetten wird für zusätzliche Privatsphäre geschlossen. Dieses Zimmer hat auch französische Türen, die auf die Terrasse führen.

Der Außenbereich verfügt über eine Stereoanlage im Freien, einen Tisch und Stühle zum Essen sowie Sofas von Pottery Barn für Unterhaltung oder Nickerchen und einen neuen Weber-Gasgrill. Wir liefern das Holz für die Feuerstelle, die sich hervorragend zum Braten der Marshmallows eignet !!!

Alright but not good for fishing unless you have a boat

It has potential . When they sent directions to the cabin I was like awesome can’t wait but there was a list of stuff to do make sure all towels were washed and dried and all dishes washed and dried and all garbages bagged . I mean we always clean the places we stay anyway so really no big deal but when we got there , their was left over cupcakes sitting outside and a garbage can on the top deck that was full and nasty and NO I didn’t empty it before I left I did throw the cupcakes away . It just irritates me that they threatened to charge me more if I don’t do what they want and someone else can leave it . Plus there is a woman that comes and cleans the property and I did pay a cleaning fee . That wasn’t the worst part I have pics of the problems inside . Receptacles and light switches hanging out of the walls with no covers on them . If you have kids like me you don’t want them to go and turn of a light switch and it shock them . They really need to fix the renovations that they have started . In the lower section a portion of the ceiling was gone and in the master bedroom these small bugs kept getting all over the wall . The bathroom up stairs don’t even have a door it just has a curtain so yeah there’s that . I didn’t find out about the road to the cabin till I got instructions to the cabin you drive from blacktop to a red dirt road which was bad for my van . It’s not for a family with kids . Grocery store is 1 hour away . We didn’t stay the full time we left a day short

Old Bass Fisherman

We are 4 older fisherman that plan a trip every year. This is our second stay at this house and it meets our needs very well. We cook all our meals at the house and the kitchen and dining area are great. The dock is perfect for leaving our bass boats in the water with the launch right across the street. Outside facilities are outstanding. Pleasant stay.

A quiet cozy getaway tucked away on the beautiful lake wedowee. We spent our honeymoon here and loved it so much that we booked again for our anniversary. Pam Miles is such a wonderful host as well. Quiet cove

We REALLY ENJOYED our mini vacation at this cabin. Quiet cove with private dock. Spacious living area. Good sleeping accommodations. We especially enjoyed the outside seating and porches. The dirt roads are too treacherous for fancier boats, but the marina is a short drive to the house. The owners are VERY ACCOMMODATING We will DEFINITELY be returning to this location.

This house was perfectly located on a quiet inlet with a covered dock. The gas marina is a short boat ride down the lake. This was the best stocked kitchen we have had with a VRBO rental. The host is super responsive and proactive to make sure we had a great vacation. We will definitely be back.

Picturesque Lake Vacation

This house and ALL of the amenities created the most perfect lake vacation for our family. The kayaks were used for early morning exploring of the cove, the dock was perfect for night fishing and day lounging. The grill area was so fun the night we did smores, the decks are the perfect hangout spot for morning coffee and the furniture and beds were all so comfy. Internet was good. The star of the show was the green light out in the water for fishing at night. We sat for hours ooohing and ahhhing at the big fish we could see. If you are wanting a remote, quiet, relaxing week at the lake, this place is perfect. The drive to "town" is about 17 minutes and had everything we needed, however, we didn't want to leave the house for anything once we got settled in.

Wedowee Lake Trip

The owners were very nice and accommodating. The views were amazing. The location is quite a bit off the beaten path but worth the drive down the dirt road once you see the location. The whole area is very quiet and has beautiful homes surrounding it. There’s a boat ramp right across from the property which was very convenient for dropping our boat. The lights on the boat dock and in the water were a huge plus and made it more enjoyable at night. There are beautiful windows upstairs allowing you to see the lake views. The property could use a little TLC. The kitchen chairs and sink was dirty and so were the front windows that showcase the lake. There are stains in the bathtub that made us not want to use it. There were several broken and/or rusted outdoor patio chairs and the outside areas were not very well maintained. Before our stay there was a leak and we offered to postpone our stay but the owner said it wasn’t necessary so when we arrived there was carpet pulled back in one bedroom and a humidifier running during our entire stay to dry it out. The property owner was in and out two of the three days we were there trying to fix the leak which we agreed to but it definitely put a damper on our privacy. An alarm started going off one of the days and we had to call the owner. It had something to do with the septic tank and was turned off quickly. Overall we enjoyed our time there but would have loved it to be a little better maintained and for the price.

Wedowee Lake House

The cabin was beautiful as was the view! The listing wasn't joking when they said to get your groceries before going to the house as it was a little ways from a store. I don't remember reading this in the listing but you drive down a good bit of dirt roads to get to the house. Thankfully they are wide! We're accustomed to driving on dirt roads so it was fine; just thought I'd mention it so others would know. Comfortable furniture in the living room and plenty of beds. Can't say enough about the view of the lake!
