All the staff we had dealings with were friendly and helpful.

Cozy clean super comfortable the surrounding ( the village) quaint and gorgeous friendly bar downstairs gave first drink on the house for guests the breakfast was delicious and homemade wonderful service bed unbelievably comfortable I could move in ! Honestly I wish I could give it 100 stars and more ! We will go back for sure … Christmas lights( sweet and tasteful) were a bonus as were the homemade eco friendly ...

„A beautiful setting and building. The service from all staff was really good. Friendly,polite and efficient. Our room was spotless. The only negative was, with just a single Velux window and no air conditioning, the room very hot as it was high summer. A good tower fan did help though so not something to get upset about. There was an old English feel about the place.“

Food was very good and breakfast was good value and very nice, If anything, the bedrooms were a little on the small side and rooms need a bit of freshening up. All in All we were very happy with our stay and would certainly go again,“

Despite the bathroom being shared, it wasn't a problem; it was a lovely shower and bath. Unfortunately one of the other guests stupidly set off the alarm at nearly 1am but the owner was very responsive and communicated what happened to reassure us. I was impressed.
