„Appartment sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet, allerdings sehr schwer zugänglich -> Koffer durch extrem engen Stiegenaufgang tragen schwierig. Nicht geeignet für kleine Kinder od gebrechliche Menschen. Anlage gut gepflegt. Nur zu empfehlen wenn man ein Auto hat, sonst weit entfernt von allem. Taxis sollte man mind. eine halbe Stunde vorbestellen. “

„The property was ideally situated close to the harbour and all amenities, and proved an excellent base for a 4 night stay. It was very clean and comfortable and our host, Pauline was next door if we needed anything (we didn’t). We used the Coasthopper bus to Brancaster Staithe and walked back (almost 12 miles) - have done the other direction to Blakeney and Cley before but weather was uncertain so took the car. „We had a wonderful time in this cosy little house. Everything was there, the garden was wonderful and the nearby beach was fantastic for the dog and us. We had great days here.“

„As far as the stay I honestly couldn’t fault it my bed was super comfy I stayed in the queen suite with shared bathroom it was spotless and warm too Helen had the radiators on and an electric blanket in the bed which was much welcomed as I stayed mid- January. If you do stay in this room just switch the blanket on and wait an hour you might not be able to feel it to the touch but once you get into bed you’ll feel it. There was plenty of tea & coffee plus nice little touches like water chocolate ...

„Das schöne Haus, das wirklich mit allem Erdenklichen ausgestattet ist, liegt zwei Minuten von einem sehr schönen Strand entfernt und zwei Minuten von Geschäften, Pubs etc. Es gibt eine steilere Stufe zu den Schlafzimmern, an die man sich aber schnell gewöhnt. Die Schlüsselübergabe war absolut problemlos. Das ganze Haus ist äusserst sauber. Die Nachbarschaft ist wirklich nett und hilfsbereit, insgesamt ist es sehr ruhig. „Absolutely beautiful cottage. Perfect placement for a Norfolk beach break away. Very clean, tidy and beautifully decorated property ! Loved the bathroom ! Bed was very comfortable ! Excellent communication with the owner and the property has a lovely pub very close by which is great. Lovely landlord and lady. Literally everything I wanted and needed in a holiday stay with my 3 dogs. Even the neighbours were al lovely and had 3 separate neighbours stop for a chat ! Thank you, id definitely stay ...

„Wir haben eine tolle Woche in Compass Cottage verbracht: die Zimmer waren total gemütlich und die Lage war perfekt. Das Dorf hatte alles was man braucht (Geschäft, Pub, Café am Strand, Fish χp Shop), war lebhaft, aber trotzdem ruhig. Strand, Dünenlandschaft und Robben haben uns sehr gefallen, genau wie die vielfältigen Möglichkeiten in Norfolk etwas zu unternehmen (wandern, Kanu fahren, Strand, Broads usw.). Danach hat man sich gefreut ins gemütliche Cottage zurück zu kommen.“

„The hosts were great with contact from start to finish. We arrived to find a cake and some milk, which was a thoughtful touch, and they checked in with us to make sure we had found the place too. The location is perfect; really close to the beach but also there's a river at the back of the lodge where you can sit on a swing and watch the birds for hours. My daughter loved it and loved feeding the birds too. The place was spotless. Beds were so comfy too. We will hopefully be back!“

„I stayed here for work and found it a perfect location. Steve was very good with communication and answering all my questions. The room was very modern with lots of gadgets which could be a little tricky but once you got the hang of it was all ok. I stayed 4 nights and looked to re book the same room the following week but unfortunately it had gone. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. “
