We where there for one night as a short stop on our roadtrip. We came into the room and it smelled weird since entering. The furniture was okay, a little worn out but okay. The sheets were clean. But the ceiling was not - when you layed down in bed you could see black spots all over the ceiling. It looked like they tried to overpaint them, but it didn't work well. We suggested it as mold, because of the humid air in the room and the weird, mouldy smell, but not sure. The refrigerator was full of ice and because of that veeery loud. In the middle of the night some ice dropped loudly and began to melt, so we had a little puddle in front of the refrigerator. For that was not enough, there is a construction area right behind the hotel and they worked there the whole night. So in total we couldn't sleep much that night... The breakfast was okay. Like few bagels, toast, waffles and some oats with milk or yogurt. We wouldn't wanted to stay there another night and also wouldn't recommend others staying there.

Clean, safe, friendly staff, good location (near Shenandoah National Park). Front desk provided free tooth brush and comb (which I forgot to pack). Only shortcoming was breakfast: 8 am no eggs or bacon. Coffee, yogurt, juice and waffles were very good. I recommend comfort inn.

This property met our needs for a one-night stay. We wanted to visit some wineries in Afton during our trip back from Cincinnati, and the Comfort Inn in Waynesboro was convenient and comfortable. It was also a good value considering several hotels in Charlottesville were either booked or had elevated rates due to the VA Tech vs. UVA game that weekend.

Nice hotel near Blue Ridge Parkway
This is a very nice hotel that is close to many restaurants. Easy on and off interstate access as well. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway which brought us to this area. Large clean rooms. Good hot and cold breakfast. Wonderful staff as well with easy checkin
