Welcome to our charming Lakeview Cottage, nestled in the picturesque Paw Paw Lake area with convenient access to the public beach within walking distance of our cottage. Enjoy sun-filled days on the lake and starry nights around the fire pit. This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage comfortably sleeps 5 guests, with a queen-sized bed in the master bedroom and a full size daybed with a twin trundle in the second bedroom. The open floor plan includes an eat-in kitchen, dining area, and living room for your enjoyment.

Located in the town of Watervliet, our cottage offers easy access to all that Southwest Michigan has to offer, including, wineries, breweries, casinos, farmers markets, hiking trails, and the beautiful Lake Michigan coastal towns of St. Joseph and South Haven, just a short 25-minute drive away.

Our fully equipped cottage provides all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen, linens, towels, outdoor seating, a charcoal grill for BBQs, and the availability to rent kayaks for lake adventures! Whether you prefer to relax on the front porch with a cup of coffee or gather around the fire pit in the evening, our cozy Lakeview Cottage is the perfect retreat for your getaway.

Important: Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.

You will also be given the choice between a security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
To ensure that all our guests have a pleasant and enjoyable stay, we kindly ask that you observe the following rules:

1. NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside our house and within the building`s premises. If you need to smoke, please do so outside the building, and dispose of your cigarette butts properly.
2. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS: Our home is located in a residential area, and we ask that you respect our neighbors` privacy and keep noise levels to a minimum. Please refrain from hosting parties or events that could disturb other guests or neighbors.
3. DOGS ONLY: Unfortunately, we can only allow dogs in our rental due and charge a $75 non-refundable cleaning fee. You must pick up all dog poop, we will fine you $50 for each dog pile we find.
4. LATE CHECK-OUT ($50 Fee): Our check-out time is 11:00 AM. We kindly ask that you adhere to this time to ensure that our cleaning staff has sufficient time to prepare the house for the next guest. Late checkout past 11:00 AM will result in a $50 fee.
5. NO EXCESSIVE GUESTS ($50 Per Guest): The maximum number of guests allowed in the house is 8, including children. Excessive guests will result in a $50 fee per guest.
6. RESPECT THE PROPERTY: We kindly ask that you respect our home and its contents. Please refrain from moving or rearranging furniture and report any damage or issues to us immediately.
7. NO GLITTER: Please don’t use glitter for decorations or for any other reason.
