It was my first time in DC as an adult with my friends on a trip and the hotel was perfect, it was a 10 minute walk from China town and the metro was close to that. The staff was very friendly and check out was easy, I even got a receipt which I kind of never get when I check out at a hotel. I would stay again

Exactly what I needed. A clean and safe place to stay. I was here during police week and barely stayed in my room other then to get a few hours of sleep and a shower. The only thing I noticed was my room wasn’t fully prepared. I had to ask for washcloths, or a do not disturb sign and my room didn’t have an ice bucket. I did ask the front desk for washcloths and a do not disturb sign, but didn’t want to ask for an ice bucket.

The room was clean, there was some basketball teams or baseball not sure but I didn’t hear them so my stay was also quiet. Staff was friendly and breakfast was pretty good. My two issues the valet parking for pickup was an absolute nightmare the other issue was only one elevator working on a weekend.

Check-in cleck was not courteous. No smile or gave info on the hotel. No washcloths in the room when we checked in. Room was not cleaned after first night stay. Was told had to request when i asked at the front desk. No info in the room to indicate such. When i requested, they sort of cleaned the room. Only one bed was made, no washcloths left and floor was not vacuumed. Only good thing about this hotel was the breakfast. Great options, area was clean and the African-American manager/cook came out every morning to greet the guest and ask if anything he could do. He was great. I will NOT be staying at this Hotel again! I will also tell my friends and family NOT to stay there.

The property and the rooms are really good. Breakfast spread is ok and not that great. They had 3 lifts and for all 3 days of our stay, only 1 lift was working, which was a huge inconvenience. Onsite parking is costly too - we paid 174 USD for 3 nights parking by the valet, managed by a carpark company.

This property is not convenient to the Metro system. Also, only 1 elevator out of 3 was working for the 4 days we were there. Long waits for the very crowded hotel. Will not stay there again!

This is a nice hotel overall. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Just be aware that the rooms are very ‘compact’, i.e., not much room to move around. Also, the towel supply is limited. There were two of us in the room and there were exactly two towels, two hand towels and two washcloths when we checked in. There was no bath mat. I thought that might have been overlooked in the initial room set up. But, no, there was no bath mat with the next day’s service. So, one of the towels had to be used as a bath mat to avoid getting the floor wet and slippery. Very odd. The free breakfast shouldn’t be relied upon for sustenance. But, the price is very reasonable and overall it is a good value.

Great staff and clean hotel. Breakfast staff was awesome and always carrying for us. When we went only 1 of the elevators were working so we had to wait a long time to come down since the other 2 were broken. Pancake maker was also broken so there was less breakfast options, but we survived. Overall a great experience, would go again:

Bel hôtel. Bien situé a DC. Le probleme lors de mon sejour c'est que 2 ascenseurs sur 3 ne fonctionnaient pas. Donc c'etait vraiment galere chaque fois pour monter a la chambre ou y descendre. Aussi le stationnement (service de valet) a une seule porte de garage. Pour faire rentrer une voiture et pour en faire sortir une autre. Cela occasionne de long delais souvent. Mis a part cela nous avons apprécié notre sejour dans cet établissement

Waited at the front desk while the phone rang at least 3 times with no front desk agent in sight. When the agent returned, she greeted me, but she was typing on her cell phone while speaking to me. Then finally after a few moments more of typing on the phone she directed her attention to checking me in and was polite. We called for bedding for the pull out sofa bed and extra towels. Front desk and those who delivered the linens were very responsive. We were disappointed to find one working elevator, and two out of service, for 14 floors. Breakfast was good and the vallet was great. The room was clean and as you would expect to find it. Despite the few things I noted, I would consider staying there again if travels brought us to the area.

Only one of 3 elevators working, totally inconvenient, long, long waits for a full elevator then a long wait again! We left our room at 7.30 am on the first day and returned at 8pm. On returning to our room housekeeping had been in and taken away used towels and emptied the garbage cans but didn’t do anything else, didn’t replace towels or do any cleaning, didn’t touch the beds. I let the front desk know and they gave me towels. Would not stay here again.

The building is well-located and new, but the services are terrible. The place was cleaned as expected, but just one of the three elevators was working, it made us to wait for a long time. The breakfast place was too small and was always crowded, the pancake machine was broken for two mornings.

The reason I said the customer service was poor, was because we arrived early. We had 40 minutes until check in and decided to stay in the lobby which is small so we couldn’t be missed. When another person arrived 10 minutes early she took them right away and did say to us you may come up now I can check you in. Also another customer representative when we left looked very disgruntled to which I even asked if she was ok. Not a very good experience in terms of customer service. The room was great however.
