Revived wrong room (paid for a bunk suite revived 2 queen basic room), was told there was no way to give a refund since the manager wasn’t there. Then the water parks all state no carry ins, and per their website lists all kind of restaurants so that you can just stay in, but nothing is open. And coolers are cleaned out so no plans to open either. The next day, we walk down for breakfast around 8am, and it’s all dark. Many others standing around too, no one at the front desk. Then finally a worker comes around and goes oh we’re suppose to open at 6:30am but no chefs showed up today so you can travel to the next town over for breakfast instead. 24 mins each way mind you. Outdoor pool (90 degrees while we were here) is only open until 5om. Indoor pool felt clean, outdoor pool had a lot of leaves, bugs, and dirt on the bottom. The lifeguard station when walking into waterpark area handed us dirty towels folded, when asked why are they wet so goes whoops and yells for someone else to grab towels of the clean rack in the back, gross. I give it 6 months and the waterpark if falling apart too since they can’t seem to keep staff with the new ownership. This was our first trip here, we were very excited and let down. Will drive the extra 45 mins to the dells next time.
