Visitors can also take a 13 mile drive to the picturesque fishing village of Padstow, famous for its seafood restaurants. Whether you are a nature lover, history buff, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, St Minver has something for everyone. Rock beach is 3 miles down the road and you can enjoy the glorious long stretch of sand and even hop on a passenger ferry to Padstow. The Camel Trail (4.5 miles) offers miles of flat cycle paths along a disused railway and the exhilarating walks on Bodmin moor are also easily accessible. Located just a few steps away is the village pub, The Fourways inn or 25 mins walk away is the traditional and friendly The Pityme Inn pub both serving food and drinks.
