The Art door is freshly renovated duplex located only minutes away from the beach. There are dozens of restaurants in the area and other things to do if the beach is not on your agenda. There is enough parking for two vehicles and with approval can accommodate more. There is high speed internet and Netflix already hooked up to the TV. The private backyard has nice lighting so you can enjoy the late night activities outside after a long day.

Perfect little getaway!
This cute little apartment is the perfect getaway spot and pet friendly! It was super clean and smelled fantastic. The fenced in backyard is perfect to just sit out and enjoy the warm weather, and to be outside with your dog! The bathroom is a great size and beautiful! The bed was very comfortable and the linens and towels were great quality. The living room and kitchen was an added bonus, although we didn’t use it much. The host was very responsive and attentive to our needs, offering to adjust the temperature if needed. It was set to 70 and has two great ceiling fans, and we were extremely comfortable. We will definitely be back for our next visit to Virginia Beach!

Great place to stay
What a cute little place! It was very clean, the bed was really comfortable, and provided all the amenities anyone would need. Garrett was also very attentive and communicative about everthing. 10/10!

Everything we were looking for
Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect. Host was very accommodating and super responsive. The space was perfect for my girlfriend and I. If you’re looking for space for your dogs to run around, there are some nice dog parks around the area. Definitely plan to return!

Weekend trip to VA Beach
We (adult couple + our yellow Lab) came in for a short stay to go to the aquarium and whale watching mainly. Had a great time, the property was just as described and Garrett reached out to make sure our stay was going well and was available if we needed anything. It’s a small spot but for a couple I don’t see what more you really need. Much preferred to being stuck in a hotel room. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The fenced in backyard area is perfect if traveling with your dog like we were. The beach and aquarium are super close by, as are restaurants/gas stations/anything else you might need. The fighter jets fly right over the house so it’s loud when they do but awesome if you enjoy them like we did. (And they don’t fly at night) We would absolutely stay here again in the future!

Wonderful place!
I had read a review posted right before we went, which seemed pretty odd compared to all the others. So don’t let that review deter you from considering this place. The property is not massive, but it does not list that in the description anywhere that it is at all, but I know from previous experience you can ask the property owner the size. It fit two normal sized adults comfortably, as well as a large dog and crate. The little yard with the fence was an added bonus, since some mornings it was too cold for long walks. The shower was amazing, perfect for tall people! Parking was simple; access was easy. It was simple to have the temperature adjusted, a quick message and it was changed. We both thought the Christmas decor they added was a nice touch! If you’re not familiar with the HR area, I recommend familiarizing yourself with it before booking a rental in Va Beach since it is where NAS Oceana is located; and you’ll hear the F-18s everywhere in the HR area. I actually missed the jet noise and it was great to be able to hear it for a few days. Although bed is a full, and listed on the website as a full, it was very comfortable! It was also great to not have to worry about bringing linens, which were def of great quality! Thank you for letting us stay at your place!

This is a nice little cozy getaway spot. It was very clean and smelled great! We enjoyed watching the jets from the private space out back too that was neat! We brought our dog and all three of us enjoyed our short time in Virginia, 10/10 would stay again if we are back in the area!
