âLoved the town, the room and the area. They need to work on check in. When we reserved the room, we were told we would receive the door codes 24 hours before check in time. We texted, as we were told to do, about 3 hours before check in to get codes. No response. We texted one hour before check in time so we knew to head that way, no response. We finally called and were told they had been very busy and we could come. Loved the place, but the check in procedure was VERY frustrating.â

âSchon der Empfang war nicht nur freundlich, sondern herzlich. Wir wurden auch gleich mit Informationen versorgt. Das ganze Haus liebevoll ausgestattet. Die Zimmer unterschiedlich eingerichtet. Ausgezeichnete Mtratzen und Kissen. Sehr ruhig gelegen und trotzdem in knapp 15 Minuten zu FuĂ im Zentrum. Kleines aber absolut ausreichendes FrĂŒhstĂŒck. FĂŒr uns absolut empfehlenswert. â

âAbsolutely nice, historic hotel! A former hospital, converted into a hotel in the 1950s, still features many historic details rememberings it's former use as a hospital and giving this hotel a museum-like style. The hotel is run by very friendly staff, I can recommend that hotel and would come again. Nothing to complain!â

Yes, there may be some creaks and groans with everyone wandering around, but it adds to the charm and really helps you live through its history! Each room is unique and has its own flair. We were in the "smallest," room but it was more than adequate to sleep in. There are plenty of other places to lounge and you are free to explore the building. We didn't take advantage of the spa ...

âGreat stay! We enjoyed the placement of the hotel being on the edge of Cripple Creek. It was quiet, staff were friendly, and the cost was low. Truly a great place to stay and one I will recommend to anyone who asks. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean, and the staff and guests were so friendly. Made our family vacation a positively memorable one.â
