„Made to feel very welcome and hotel kindly arranged a late check-in without fuss. The room was comfy and clean and the breakfast first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is in a super location on the bridge with views of the river and just a short walk to shops and amenities. Very friendly - will always go back when visiting Thetford area.“

„This is a great value B and B. Although over a pub and close to a main road, very quiet. The pub serves good pub meals, reasonably priced and the staff are very cheerfull. Breakfast was good and the rooms are pleasantly decorated and clean. A great place to stop if you are in the area. The atmousphere in the pub was freindly but not in anyway rowdy. “

Suggestion: would have been nice if there were some board games/cards in the pub to pass our time. There was a dart board but tables were infront of it. But overall, lovely stay and would definately stay again! “

„Starting with the positives: the room was lovely, large, well appointed and furnished to high standard, large bathroom with bath and shower.
BUT if you are staying on a weekend or the night before a Public holiday be prepared for the pub to be packed and the music to be loud. We could easily hear music and voices from the bar in our room, and it wasn’t just in the background. We complained and the music did get turned down which also meant the voices weren’t as loud, but we still had to sleep ...

Food was very good and breakfast was good value and very nice, If anything, the bedrooms were a little on the small side and rooms need a bit of freshening up. All in All we were very happy with our stay and would certainly go again,“
