„Great place to stay. Great people working there, thanks for everything!“

„Staff at the restaurant was excellent! Food was very good and breakfast included. Front desk staff needs more customer service skills. Our TV did not work and we ask for someone to do our laundry. On both occasions we were told someone would come to our room, but not one ever did. View is incredible!“

„Very beautiful and rustic organic farm on the Nile river. Rooms were comfortable, stay was very enjoyable.“

„The place is on Elephantine island, you can only get there by ferry. The cost is minimal around $ .70 for a one way. The island is way quieter than the mainland. Make sure you are expected upon arrival, signage is limited.“

„Beautiful location with easy access to the ferry terminal. We were met by Gamal and brought across to the island on his boat. From the moment we met him Gamal went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed and more. We learnt much from him about the Nubian culture and people and we have great respect for him. We would lovee to return again. The next day we hired Gamals Felucca and spent a wonderful day and night sailing the Nile. Breakfast was delicious and there are great ...

„No alcohol property should be well advertised. A better system for bags picked up at ferry dock to be delivered to the rooms. Otherwise a beautiful property, wonderful staff. Thank you.“

„This is a nubian ecolodge, so if you decide to go for it you must have very clear what does it mean: no fridge, no air conditioning but fans, a lot of walking, spartan rooms with no wifi etc. However, this is exactly what you would expect from a place like that. So it meets the expectations just brilliantly. The place is located on an island, right in front of the Philae temple. This gives a surreal, romantic and fantastic scenario. Really recommended. The little boat ride offers a great view of ...
