„Staff at the restaurant was excellent! Food was very good and breakfast included. Front desk staff needs more customer service skills. Our TV did not work and we ask for someone to do our laundry. On both occasions we were told someone would come to our room, but not one ever did. View is incredible!“

„This is a nubian ecolodge, so if you decide to go for it you must have very clear what does it mean: no fridge, no air conditioning but fans, a lot of walking, spartan rooms with no wifi etc. However, this is exactly what you would expect from a place like that. So it meets the expectations just brilliantly. The place is located on an island, right in front of the Philae temple. This gives a surreal, romantic and fantastic scenario. Really recommended. „Grosse Erwartungen (4.5 Sterne; Deluxe Riverview Zimmer; hochpreisig fuer Aswan), sehr grosse Enttaeuschung!

„It was a great stay from the start! Beautiful location, great food and amazing staff“

„Very beautiful and rustic organic farm on the Nile river. Rooms were comfortable, stay was very enjoyable.“

„The place is on Elephantine island, you can only get there by ferry. The cost is minimal around $ .70 for a one way. The island is way quieter than the mainland. Make sure you are expected upon arrival, signage is limited.“

„The place and the room are big and nice but not maintained, the spring bed was deformed uncomfortable, the curtain was torn. The WiFi doesn’t work. We stayed for one night.“

„Beautiful setting with a lovely view of the Nile and surround areas south of the Aswan Low Dam (including the Pihlae Temple) from the terrace. The staff's hospitality, relaxed atmosphere, and quality breakfast make it a wonderful place to rest and explore the area.“
