„Went to see UIUC campus and stopped here for the night. It was quieter because we came in July, and that might make a difference at other times, but this place was really convenient and our room was a good size. I didn’t think much of the pool but I had no time to use it anyway. Right next to campus. “

„The room was ok, then cleaners came only once during our stay. She was rude. She didn’t clean the shower at all. She didn’t replace the toilet paper roll even though it had finished and she didn’t clean the table despite me asking her. The tea mug had lipstick stain on them.“

There is not much in the way of front desk staff but they communicated smoothly about check in and check out. There is an excellent bakery downstairs on the premises. The kitchen is stocked with basic pots, pans, utensils, etc. Tons of space. There is a bit of street noise as the property is at a busy intersection, so bring your earplugs just in case. Overall, good value.“

Needed a microwave and they brought one right up to the room. Plenty of eating options within walking distance. Only thing I would suggest is when you check in make sure to find out where to park. It is across the road but super close and plenty of spots. Would definitely stay again!! “

„The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. However we were woke up during the night by other guest on our floor being very noisy in the hall, the door and walls did not do much to reduce the noise from the hallway.“

„We had a very pleasant evening and morning at the Candlewood. Exactly what we needed: microwave to heat up dinner and coffee in the morning in the room. Countertops were nice in bathroom and kitchenette, big refrigerator and dishwasher. Better than average some cotton sheets! Staff very friendly and heloful. “
