You can catch, bluegill, pirch, bass, pike, crappie, catfish. Is paddle boarding or kayaking more your style, then youâll love the St. Joe river. The largest river in the area which allows for 150 miles of paddling from Union lake, all the way to where it joins Lake Michigan in St Joesph Michigan. Staying in the winter, you can also ice fish this lake. Want to bring your own boat? Not a problem! Although you won't be able to launch from the property there is a boat launch just up the road from this property.
Less than a 5-minute drive takes you to downtown Union City, while Coldwater, Michigan, is just a short 20-minute drive away. Nearby attractions include Five Star Pizza, Mel's Diner, Broadway Grille, and a children's park in town. The Potawatomi Recreation Area offers additional recreational opportunities. Union city damn is just minutes away from this property and also provides ample fishing opportunities. In Athens just 10 minutes away is an alligator sanctuary.
