Der Ort ist typisch englisch, das Innenstädtchen trubelig, enge Strassen und viel Verkehr, aber gute Möglichkeiten zum Spazierengehen am Ufer des Backwater.“

„Room was clean and the young person was so very helpful Breakfast was excellent and cooked perfect both mornings I commented to the young chef that cooked our breakfast on Wednesday morning. What a fantastic job he had made. Even the waitress listen to instructions about tea and toast and followed them to the letter The only thing I’d probably say that was missing was the attached pub/bar only did lunchtime meals and not evening“

„Schmutzige Gläser und Zehennägel-Reste machen nicht gerade den Eindruck, dass die Sauberkeit an erster Stelle steht. Das Zimmer könnte m.E. eine Renovierung vertragen. Parkplätze sind sehr beengt angelegt, da bekommt der Gast schon mal eine Schramme ins Auto und trotz Videoüberwachung lässt sich der Verursacher angeblich nicht ermitteln. Was die anderen Gäste an dem Frühstück so toll (lt. Bewertungen) fanden, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen! “

„Fantastic hotel! Nothing to complain. As a flight crew we stay in hotels all around and this hotels is very friendly. Breakfast is good, people are friendly, surrounding area is beautiful, I even would choose this hotel for a private vacation! The only disadvantage I had, was that the room was a bit warm and I could only open the window to reduce the temperature. If you close the room the temperature goes up again very quickly. Price of the hotel is more than fair! “
