Optional Pool Heat: We heat our water in THREE ways! One is with aquathermal solar, second is with gas, third is with pool blanket. Solar aquathermal is FREE and works well April 1-Sep 30 and maxes out in mid 80's. Gas heat is ONE per-stay fee, quoted as a single total for your whole booking. Gas heat is needed to keep pool swimmable from Oct 1-March 31; the stay total is $199 for the first day plus $129 for each additional day of your booking, added together once, and keeps it at a ridiculously warm 90 degrees. Gas heat in the warmer months from April 1-Sep 30 is one whole-stay total of $149 for the first day plus $89 for each additional day of your booking and will guarantee the pool at 90 degrees. Gas heat is available year-round, in case the weather is too cold on the day you arrive for the electric or solar heater to be effective. The solar blanket is required October through April, and May through September whenever pool heat is on, to keep Mother Nature happy, it reduces energy loss by 90%. Pool cover: October through April the cover must stay on at all times whenever the pool is not in use, heat or no heat, to prevent evaporation. May through September it must be on whenever pool heat is on and the pool is not in use. Gas heat (like any add-on) always covers every day of your booking, not just one day: we quote one total for the whole stay, never a daily charge. 90 degrees is similar temperature to a warm bath. Just let us know after booking if you want to add the gas heat.
