Northstar Ski-In/Ski-Out Renovated 2BR, Lake Tahoe - Walk to Village

Enjoy true ski-in/ski-out at Northstar, where the Coyote Fork run passes right by our door when snow conditions allow. Start your morning with a few laps, come back for lunch at your own table, and finish the day by the gas fireplace with tree-top views.

Our recently remodeled 957-square-foot, 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo sleeps 6 in four beds and sits quietly between the slopes and Northstar Village. Two queen beds, a twin bunk bed, and two bathrooms, including a tub and shower combination, make the layout especially useful for families. In summer and fall, hiking, biking, golf, swimming, and Lake Tahoe day trips are all close by.

⭐ HIGHLIGHTS
▪ Ski-in/ski-out on Coyote Fork, a blue run leading to the Highlands Gondola, when snow conditions allow.
▪ The green Condo Run is about a two-minute walk across the parking lot and feeds the Village Express lift and Big Springs Express Gondola.
▪ Northstar Village is a short walk away, or take the free Northstar shuttle from the condo parking lot.
▪ Verified 420 Mbps WiFi and a dedicated workspace with a monitor and HP AirPrint printer/scanner.

⭐ WINTER AT NORTHSTAR
Northstar is especially well suited to families, with ski and snowboard schools and plenty of gentler terrain. A ski locker on the ground floor of the building keeps skis, boards, and wet boots out of the condo.

Northstar Village is a short walk away, with an outdoor ice rink, fire pits, restaurants, and complimentary s'mores at 4 p.m. You can also ride the Highlands Gondola up to The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe for dining or spa services.

⭐ SUMMER AND FALL
Northstar offers much more than skiing. The Northstar Bike Park provides lift-served downhill mountain biking on the same lifts used during ski season, with rentals and lessons available in the Village. Hiking and cross-country trails begin at the door, and the Northstar golf course is nearby.

Kings Beach and the North Shore of Lake Tahoe are about 15 minutes away for swimming, boating, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Donner Lake is about 20 minutes away and offers another option for swimming and paddling. Sand Harbor is about 35 minutes away.

Historic downtown Truckee and Commercial Row are about 15 minutes away, with restaurants, bars, and shops. Optional access to the Northstar Property Owners Association Recreation Center provides additional swimming, tennis, and fitness facilities.

⭐ BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS
Downstairs bedroom: Queen Leesa Hybrid mattress, white linens, a 43-inch 4K HDR TV, and a Levoit HEPA air filter. The TV supports AirPlay, Chromecast, and built-in streaming apps.

Downstairs bathroom: A combination tub and shower. This is the condo's only bathtub, which can be especially useful for families with young children.

Upstairs bedroom: Sleeps four with a queen Brooklyn Bedding Signature Hybrid mattress and a twin bunk bed. It also has a 1080p TV with AirPlay and Chromecast, a 52-inch Modern Forms ceiling fan, and a Dyson HEPA air filter.

Upstairs bathroom: Ensuite to the upstairs bedroom, with a rain shower. There is no tub in this bathroom.

⭐ LIVING, KITCHEN, AND CLIMATE
The living room has a remote-controlled gas fireplace, tree-top views, Sonos speakers, and comfortable space for the group to spend time together. Central heating is controlled through a Nest thermostat.

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. It is well stocked with tableware, cookware, pots, pans, and wine glasses. Additional appliances include a coffee maker, mixer, toaster, Instant Pot, kettle, and blender.

Air filters are provided in the living room and both bedrooms. Portable air conditioning is available in the living room and upstairs bedroom during the warm season, along with multiple fans.

⭐ WORK AND ENTERTAINMENT
Verified 420 Mbps WiFi runs throughout the condo on both 2.4 and 5 GHz networks. The dedicated workspace includes a desk, desk chair, computer monitor, device charging, and an all-in-one HP printer/scanner with AirPrint. Paper and ink are stored in the desk drawers.

All three TVs support AirPlay and Chromecast and have built-in streaming apps. Cable, satellite service, and streaming subscriptions are not provided, but you are welcome to sign in with your own accounts. Please remember to sign out before you check out.

The condo also has more than 50 DVDs, a large variety of board games, and Sonos speakers that work with AirPlay and the Sonos app.

Our condo is in the Ski Trails complex, and free shared laundry facilities are on the same floor, just outside the front door.

⭐ GUEST ACCESS AND PARKING
Guests have the entire condo and check themselves in using the electronic keypad.

Free parking is provided for up to two vehicles. Parking passes are issued at check-in and must be returned at check-out. A lost parking pass has a $250 replacement fee.

Your ski locker is on the ground floor of the building, and the free Northstar shuttle picks up in the condo parking lot.

We are available at all times by phone, text, or chat, and we have 24/7 local service providers on standby.

⭐ NORTHSTAR RECREATION CENTER
The Northstar Property Owners Association Recreation Center is within walking distance. Optional guest access costs $10 per guest over 5 years old, per day, paid directly to NPOA at the front desk.

The recreation center has a full fitness center, multiple pools, a youth center, tennis courts, and massage therapy services. The lap pool and hot tubs are open during winter. Swim towels are available for $2 each.

The guest pass also includes free gated parking at the recreation center. Grills and outdoor seating are available there as well.

These are estimated travel times without traffic. Winter chain controls on Interstate 80 and Highway 267, as well as summer weekend traffic near Kings Beach, can add substantial travel time.

⭐ GOOD TO KNOW
▪ Check-in is at 4 p.m., and check-out is at 11 a.m.
▪ This is a second-floor condo and the building has no elevator. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are reached by an additional interior staircase.
▪ The condo does not have a private balcony, deck, patio, yard, grill, or outdoor seating. Grills and outdoor seating are available at the NPOA Recreation Center with paid guest access.
▪ There is no hot tub inside the condo. Hot tubs are available at the NPOA Recreation Center during winter with paid guest access.
▪ Pets are not allowed.
▪ Bears and coyotes are active around the building and parking lots.
