Herbst 2023
Perfekt! Carlos, dessen Familie das Haus gehört, hat uns am Treffpunkt empfangen und fuhr bis zum Haus vor uns her. Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich! Man wohnt oben auf dem Berg mit tollem Blick auf die Landschaft. Das Haus selbst ist perfekt in Schuss und es ist alles da. Wir verbrachten eine sehr schöne Woche, danke an Carlos und deine Familie, wir kommen gerne vielleicht einmal wieder. Viele Grüße Die Lochis

Traumurlaub in den Bergen von Torrox
Wir haben als Familie mit zwei erwachsenen Kindern 4 wundervolle Wochen in der Villa von Carlos verbracht. Selten haben wir einen solchen liebenswerten, herzlichen und jederzeit aufmerksamen Gastgeber in einem Ferienhaus erlebt. Er war bei den kleinsten Problemen immer sofort zur Stelle. Die Villa hat eine super Lage, abseits von jedem Trubel und lässt was Ausstattung, Sauberkeit und Komfort angeht keine Wünsche offen. Die Beschreibung trifft in allen Bereichen zu. Selten haben wir wie bei Carlos schon vor Ort erneut einen 4 wöchigen Aufenthalt gebucht. Wir freuen uns heute schon sehr darauf. Danke Carlos für die wunderschöne Zeit bei Dir in Torrox.

It was perfect from the start till the end. Carlos was really friendly and took really good care of us. The day we arrived he went to the super market with us so we didn’t have to drive to the Finca alone by night. The Finca and the view were magical. The kitchen was well equipped and the pool was super clean.

Traumhafte Lage
Wir waren mit der Familie mit 4 Personen in dieser schönen Villa an Weihnachten für zwei Wochen dort. Carlos hat uns sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit empfangen. Das Haus war perfekt vorbereitet und alles sauber und mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Die Lage ist traumhaft und man hat von der Terrasse einen sehr schönen Blick auf die Landschaft, genau so, wie es auf den Bildern hervorgeht. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Wichtig ist zu wissen, dass im Winter das Haus innen kalt ist (Steinboden) aber es lässt sich mit dem Holzcheminee in der Stube heizen. Zudem gibt es die Klimageräte, mit welchen man auch in den Zimmern heizen kann (wird mit Stromzähler zusätzlich verrechnet). Der Aussenbereich ist sehr schön und wir haben auf der Terrasse sogar im Winter frühstücken können. Vielen Dank an Carlos, der uns für einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in allem unterstützt hat!

Wonderful location!
We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Cortijo el Paraiso Tropical and especially enjoyed the views! The villa is exactly as shown and described on the photos. Its location on top of a hill (about 500m above sea level) is spectacular, very quiet and the house and surrounding garden with its sitting areas very well maintained. Driving up the hill on the curvy road only seems a bit adventurous the first time ;) Since we love to cook, we really appreciated the very well equipped kitchen and barbeque area next to the pool. Originally, we had booked the villa for 2020 but could not travel because of Covid regulations, so we really appreciated Carlos´ offer to just visit one year later! As easy as this suggestion was the whole contacting and booking procedure. All our questions were anwered right away. A big, big thank you for everything to Carlos (always in a good mood, helpful, friendly!!!) and his whole family!

Tolle Villa
Eine wirkliche tolle Villa für einen entspannten Aufenthalt in der Sonne. Carlos als Vermieter war immer sehr hilfsbereit, wir hatten keinen Grund zu irgendeiner Beanstandung. Küche ist gut ausgestattet, Zimmer mit AirCo (wenn man möchte, die vonhandenen Ventilatoren sind für mich genug), ideale Wassertemperatur im Pool, wirklich ein gelungener Aufenthalt.

Volle 5 Sterne für El Paradiso
Vom 5.-12. Oktober 2019 waren wir mit einem befreundeten Ehepaar in einem wirklichen Paradies. Von der Sauberkeit und Ausstattung des Hauses, Abwicklung bei An- und Abreise , der tollen Ausblicke und Umgebung und besonders des herzlichen und sehr netten Gastgebers Carlos entsprach alles den Beschreibungen bzw. Bildern und daher volle 5 Sterne. Einzig die letzten 1,5 Kilometer Fahrt zum Haus waren erstmal etwas abenteuerlich, aber auch daran gewöhnte man sich schnell. An einigen Passagen der Straße sollte nur nicht unbedingt ein anderes Auto entgegenkommen, aber da dort sehr wenig Verkehr herrscht, passiert das eigentlich kaum. Nochmal herzlichen Dank an Carlos und seine Familie für die tolle Urlaubswoche. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!! Stefan, Ute, Dieter und Elke

wunderbarer und paradiesischer Urlaub
Wir wurden am 25.09 an der Tankstelle von Carlos abgeholt und zu unserer Villa gebracht, die Villa liegt auf einen Berg, mit traumhafter Aussicht auf die Berge und das Meer. Die Villa verfügt über einen tollen Pool und einigen wunderbaren Plätzen, wie der Pavillon und den Freisitz. Das Haus ist super mit allen nötigen Dingen des täglichen Bedarfs ausgestattet. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt wäre das zweite kleine Badezimmer, hier sollte die Dusche mal erneuert werden. Ansonsten können wir jeden nur dieses "kleine Paradies" empfehlen!

Excellent and Quiet Location
From the moment we met our host and checked in to the moment we left our family loved spending time at this location. It was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay. The kids loved exploring the area and use of the ping pong table. The sleeping arrangements were great for what our family needed. Our host was always accessible and answered any questions we had. We would absolutely stay at this location again the next time we visit the area.

A luxury week away
Such a beautiful property with an incredible view. Even with very hot weather the property was cool at night and in the day there is plenty of shaded areas and the pool to cool off in. Carlos the owner was great, very helpful and always at the end of the phone if we needed anything. But we didn't need to contact him at all, as everything was so well organised.

Perfect holiday
It's very hard to put into words just how much we enjoyed our visit. It's a beautiful villa with stunning views and a fantastic pool - you won't be disappointed. Furthermore, it serves well as a base to places such as Frigliana and Nerja and we really enjoyed exploring both - especially the beaches. Lastly, Carlos might be the best host we have ever had. So consciencous - he really cares about you having a great holiday - but also not in the slightest bit intrusive. Thank you Carlos. The kids loved it and didn't want to come home. Neither did we.

Lovely relaxing holiday
From booking to checking out, this has been the most wonderful relaxing holiday in a truely stunning and peaceful location. The villa is situated up a mountain road and has amazing views down to the sea through the valley. Clean, tidy and very well appointed. I actually looked for things that weren't provided and i couldnt find anything. Carlos has really thought of everything. You will definitely need a car as the villa is right up a mountain road - this just adds to the "Spanishness" of it and is something we loved. Torrox itself is a lovely town with some great places to eat - again, Carlos has all this covered with a very helpful Whatsapp message giving you options and links in Google Maps. Nerja is just a 30 minute drive too and is well worth a visit. Overall, well, perfect. Couldn't fault the place. If you book you will definitely not regret it. We'd certainly return.

Fantastic villa and perfect host
We had a fantastic time at this villa. The view is perfect and watching the sunset in the evening is breathtaking. The villa is well equipped with everything you can think of, outside you have plenty of seating areas both in and out of the sun, an amazing bbq area and a fantastic pool. Carlos is the best host you can think of and really made the holiday for us, we had a peaceful stay knowing if we needed anything he was there to help, his communication from start to finish was amazing, getting in touch with us before the stay and sending recommendations for restaurants/attractions. Thank you Carlos we hope to return soon.

A true paradise
We have stayed at a lot of properties over the last well many years! I found this particular villa to be a little better than the rest. Small things like air fresheners, lots of spare towels, very comfy beds and last but not least a well stocked kitchen with sharp knives! I can't count the amount of times we have stayed in luxury villas and had blunt knifes. Its such a little thing but nevertheless very impressive. The owner was a genuinely nice man that dropped by one morning and bought us breakfast. I can't praise the landlord or the property enough 11 out of 10 all day long.

Beautiful and Relaxed
We had a fabulous time here and all of us who stayed were in our element! The secluded mountain villa is perfect if you are after a quiet get away with family. We all came away feeling very relaxed! Carlos couldn’t be more helpful, he is super quick at replying to any questions and can recommend some fabulous restaurants etc! We would definitely like to come back!

Paradise!
We stayed at this amazing villa in the beautiful hills above Torrox as a family of 4 (2 adults/2 teenagers) during the Feb half term and it was amazing! The villa itself was perfect...well equipped, comfortable beds, cosy fire place for the chilly evenings and everything was spotlessly clean. The views from the villa are just spectacular...from the morning views across the hills down to the sea, to the beautiful sunsets and clear dark nights for stargazing! Totally peaceful surroundings. The outside facilities of the Balinese bed, sun loungers, seating and eating areas as well as the bar/BBQ were also absolutely amazing...although we didn't use the pool (wee bit chilly) it looked very inviting and in the summer I'm sure would be in full use. The garden path with it's various seating options is also a great place to relax and enjoy the views and if you're lucky you may get to meet Pepe the toad relaxing on the path, such a handsome boy! Carlos was the most perfect host during our stay...from guiding us up the mountain road in the dark, recommending and booking lunch at a local bar (which incidentally served the most delicious paella!) to a surprise morning delivery of warm churros. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Carlos, it really was paradise for us. We will be back :)

Beautiful Home
The view was stunning. The house was beautiful, comfortable and was well equipped with everything we needed and didn’t know we needed. The only reason for the not perfect score. I have an issue with narrow mountain roads. There was nothing wrong and there were no mishaps on the roads, they just stressed me out. So we scheduled everything so we didn’t have to drive to the house at night.

My family and I stayed for two weeks in the beautiful villa. The location and views were very special. Very quiet and peaceful location. Paradise in the Mountains
Carlos was the ultimate host from start to finish. He communicated with us immediately on booking and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. From a very late escort up the mountains on our first night to personal recommendations of local restaurants (and surprise morning churros left on our terrace!) He was there when we needed him and gave us our space when that was required. The location of the villa is simply stunning. It is completely private and has a variety of lovely outside spaces that allowed out group of 6 adults to spread out. The house is clean, well equipped and spacious for 8 people. Thank you, Carlos for you your hospitality and sharing your wee bit of Paradise with us.

Paradise!
Communication was fabulous from start to finish with the owner making himself available through the app and later through WhatsApp which was very convenient when updating our travel itinerary. We were met and escorted to the property for which we were grateful. It was helpful to have everything explained and Carlos was very friendly and thorough in ensuring that all our needs were met. The villa is well named and is in a lovely setting with spectacular views. It is very well equipped in terms of kitchen equipment, outdoor and indoor seating and dining arrangements. The bedrooms are spacious and the showers very powerful. Everything is spotlessly clean and it was nice to have towels and begging changed on a weekly basis. We loved the pool, the sunbeds and choice of areas to relax, the peace and quiet and the knowledge that there was someone on the end of the phone who was willing to help of there were any problems. We had a fabulous holiday- thank you, Carlos.

Fantastic week, superb!
The villa is stunning - the best villa we’ve ever stayed in. High up above a gorgeous valley means you have superb views and sunsets. Immaculate attention to detail - everything you need is in the villa… and more. Lovely pool, terrace, seating and outdoor dining areas. BBQ is great - did I mention the views! Carlos was superb, a fantastic host. The road up to the villa is great fun to drive and the reward is peace, tranquility and near total isolation. Loved every second of our week here.

An Amazing Oasis!
There are few words good enough to describe this amazing property! The photos really do not compare to the reality! We travelled as a family of 6 adults a teen and an 8year old. This property was perfect for us in every way, the house itself was fabulous, well maintained, clean and with every possible tool and utensil you might need in the kitchen! It is traditional and really feels like home. The outdoor space is where this property really comes alive! With a range of seating areas, the Balinese bed, comfy sun loungers and the Tiki Bar we were spoiled for choice. We eat all meals in the lovely covered outdoor dining area and chatted the nights away , just what we all needed. The views over the valley and mountains was spectacular and took our breath away every day! Carlos was the perfect host. From the welcome and escort for the first drive from his father Antonio to the special visit in our first night to say hi and the emergency rescue mission when we locked the keys inside the house (don’t do that!!) he was a start from start to finish. The drive up and down the mountain is a little hairy but we got used to it quickly and enjoyed a couple of trips into Torrox for dinner and a seafront stroll. I do not have a bad word to say about the villa, it was spectacular and overall perfect for us! We would definitely return! Thanks for everything! The Dargie/Pearson Family :)

Lovely villa Amazing views
Booked this fabulous villa in 2019 for June 2020 but Covid 19 scuppered our plans. Finally got to stay for 2 glorious weeks in June 2022 and it was so well worth the wait! Carlos was exceptional from start to finish. He is clearly very proud of his property was very attentive during our stay and was very anxious that everything was satisfactory. As other reviewers have mentioned, the drive up to the villa the first time is a little daunting but after a couple of journeys, it’s not a problem. The town of Torrox Costa is a 15 minute away by car while Nerja is approximately 25 minutes. A car is absolutely necessary as the villa is at the top of a mountain! The villa was spotless and very comfortable with an especially well equipped kitchen compared to other properties we have stayed in. We loved the peace and tranquillity of the house and the pool, gardens and outside dining area are stunning with the most spectacular views that one would never tire of. We had intended to dine out in local restaurants most evenings but only did so 3 times during our 2 week stay as it was so much nicer to cook dinner ourselves and eat at the fabulous outside dining area and enjoy the amazing views. We thoroughly enjoyed our wonderful stay at Carlos’ villa and would love to return sometime soon.

Fantastic mountain retreat
This property is absolutely stunning. The owner Carlos has catered for everything and family could possible want during their stay. The sea and mountain views are wonderful and I can honestly say that I have never known such a professional and attentive host as Carlos. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent from start to finish.

THIS IS THE BEST VILLA IVE STAYED IN.
HI. not sure where to start, this villa and host (carlos) is just stunning. From the effortless check in to hand back at the end, the villa and grounds are spotlessly clean and attention to detail amazing. We've stayed in many villa's in Spain and Portugal and this is by far the best and in my opinion a good price, the views are stunning and the sunsets amazing. There's great restaurants/bars locally approximately 15/20mins drive in Torrox Pablo and playa, I recommend Magon as are favourite. There are plenty of shops about the same distance and local markets on Mondays. I could go on forever but just book and you WON'T be disappointed, the only problem with this villa and Carlos other villa's are they are all SO GOOD we'll struggle to get booked in again soon. Thank you again for all your help making our holiday so perfect.

Superbe location et vue magnifique
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en famille dans cette magnifique villa . Tout était parfait, l’équipement de la villa, la propreté, le confort de la literie, la vue;les extérieurs avec la piscine sont tout simplement paradisiaques ! Nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux avec Carlos ,il est très disponible et très réactif. Les vues sur la montagne et la mer sont sublimes avec de surcroît de très beaux couchers de soleil. Pour accéder à la villa il y a une partie de l’accès en piste cela surprend la première fois mais on s’y fait très rapidement et quand on arrive au sommet on est largement récompensé par la vue et la tranquillité.

Encore mieux en vrai
Nous avons séjournés 2 semaines dans la villa de Carlos. Tout d’abord, nous avons été très bien accueillis par Carlos lui même à 1h du matin qui a fait tout son possible pour que tout se déroule correctement. La maison était très propre, la vue est splendide; encore plus époustouflante que sur les photos. Tout le nécessaire est disponible dans la maison, le propriétaire vient nettoyer la piscine 2 fois par semaine et les draps ainsi que les serviettes sont changés 1 fois par semaine; ce qui prouve le sérieux et le professionnalisme de l’hôte. Le seul bémol est que l’on est un peu loin de tout, il faut nécessairement prendre la voiture pour tout; mais évidemment c’est ce qui justifie la vue aussi imprenable sur les montagnes et la mer. Pour conclure, nous avons passés de super vacances dans cette villa à Torrox. Merci

Simply perfect in every way...
This beautiful holiday home lived up to our expectations in every sense. From the point of booking, communication with Carlos was superb and any questions we had were answered promptly. The Villa itself was spotless, very well equipped and in the most amazing location - stunning views and the outside space was so well thought out, with multiple seating areas to take in the best views. You literally could hear a pin drop it was so quiet and not at all overlooked. Access to local towns was easy, plenty of shops for the essentials. Probably the best villa we have ever visited, highly recommended. Book it now, you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic villa with stunning views
We have stayed in several Home Away villas before but never one as well equipped and well thought out before. Carlos and his team have literally thought of everything that you may need to make your holiday run as smoothly as possible. And you know that should anything unforeseen happen, Carlos would go out of his way to help resolve the problem. The villa itself is clean, comfortable and quirky. The outside area is beautiful with its Balinese bed, loungers, shaded seating area plus bar and barbecue. You will never tire of the views and the sunsets. We will definitely be making a return trip. Thank you Carlos.

Perfect Paradise Away From All The Worlds Troubles
Myself and extended family stayed here for one week. During our time the weather was outstanding and we took huge advantage of the swimming pool and sun loungers. The outside bed was also a big bonus for the times when the sun was too strong. We ventured out most days to the nearby Torrox town and Nerja which was fun with plenty to offer. This villa had everything we needed and all but one night we cooked on either the BBQ or in the oven. Carlos was a wonderful host and made us all feel very welcome and made sure that if we needed anything at all during our stay he would be on hand to help. I must give a quick mention of the view........ It truly is one of the best I have seen and during the sunset, is something like a dream. All in all we would highly recommend this property for any large family or group. A hire car is a must. Thank you again Carlos for your hospitality.

A dream stay in a beautiful villa in a wonderful location
We had an incredible 2 weeks here. Everything about this property was spot on for us. The villa itself is clean and well looked after, the kitchen had all the facilities even the shower pressure (something I like to complain about) was great. I really have no complaints at all. The pool is a lot bigger than I anticipated and Carlos ensures that it's cleaned regularly. We never tired of the view from the balcony and we had all of our meals outside overlooking the hills. You're only a 30 min drive from Nerja and the beaches in and around there were all easy to get to by car. Once the kids were in bed we would spend our evenings lounging with a drink on the bed by the pool or sitting out and looking at the stars. Carlos could not have been a kinder and more helpful host. We wanted for nothing and both my partner and I and our two kids had the perfect stay. The only thing I would say is that the first time you drive to the villa it can feel a little hairy, but you soon get used to it. I have no complaints at all and we are definitely planning to go back at some point. Five stars all round.

Perfect family holiday in a beautiful Villa
All pre arrival communication with Carlos was excellent, he replied to all questions immediately with a friendly manner. Carlos met us at the BP petrol station late in the evening and this was easily found again due to the directions sent to us pre arrival. (This meeting is a must as you will struggle to find this beautiful villa in daylight never mind darkness). Carlos was extremely attentive showing us around and going into detail about everything we needed to know. The villa is exactly as described. Remote (1st time a little daunting but you will get used to it very quickly) beautifully appointed with every single thing you require and the views are just tremendous. All beds were comfortable with a seemingly never endless supply of towels, bedding and wonderful snug wraps should it get cool in the evening. Lovely sized clean pool and outdoor shower, perfect bar & BBQ area. The new addition of the outdoor Table Tennis was genius. Having a covered car port is excellent especially if you are there in high season. The canopied outdoor dining area is lovely and we used this every evening. The kitchen is extremely well appointed with a mountain of utensils, crockery and glassware. Having the dishwasher is perfect especially if you have (like us) 3 hungry kids and 4 equally hungry adults! as a base the location is not far from many areas you may wish to visit. we day tripped to Nerja, Competa, Frigiliana and the surrounding areas. As we arrived very late on a Saturday evening, Carlos very kindly provided us with some food essentials for which we were more than grateful. A wonderful private location just perfect for a family holiday as there is so much outside and inside space, we would easily visit again in a heartbeat. Muchas gracias Carlos.

A very beautiful, clean and comfortable villa in a dingy place with an excellent view and kind and hospitable land lord. We enjoyed our stay very much. Inoubliable !
Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve en famille dans cette magnifique maison où tout est pensé : piscine bien dimensionnee avec vue splendide, coin repas à l'extérieur avec vue également, grand espace avec fauteuils transats pour tout le monde, à l'intérieur grandes chambres bien décorées avec matelas confortables, grandes salles de bain, cuisine pratique et bien équipée. Pour visiter nous étions bien placés entre les villages blancs a proximite, grenade cordoue marbella ronda, puis Séville où nous avons passé une nuit. L'accès à la villa se fait par un petit chemin tout à fait carrossable pour notre Honda FRV en quelques minutes depuis la route. Commerces et plages à 20 mn environ. Et pour que tout soit vraiment parfait, l'accueil très chaleureux de Carlos. Encore merci à vous pour votre sollicitude. Bref tout parfait ! Allez y les yeux fermés !
