I have stayed here a few times this past year. I have noticed that you all removed the flavored teas, the toasters and took the Boomerang channel off of your cable TV. This is my daughter and I quarterly staycation destination. She is on the spectrum and only wants to watch Boomerang. The location is good due to the mall next door. The staff is Always Nice. Thank you. Im wondering where are my points?

Was charged a $250 fee that was NOT disclosed when I booked the stay. Was told when we checked in that we could not have a birthday party that was also NOT disclosed before I booked the stay. Was told we could not have cake or decorations in the room at all. This stay was SUPPOSED to be for my sons birthday and we were GOING TO have a party for him but we DID NOT because we were told we wasn't allowed. The pull out couch bed was dirty, apparently house keeping don't clean thoroughly because we found food on the walls and ceiling from previous people, did under the beds because they didn't clean good enough, the pool room was so hot I felt like i was going to pass out, there is no ventilation apparently, the pool room floor had ants crawling around EVERYWHERE, the pool had so much chlorine in it that the water was cloudy and you couldn't even see the pool floor and there was so much chlorine that just sitting in the room made your eyes burn and most of the time there was no towels in there, I had to go ask for totals a couple times. We will NEVER AGAIN come to this place. Kalahari is the same price with parties ALLOWED! We will take our business there. Get yourselves together. I'm not sure how you have a 4.0 rating... it was a horrible experience! NEVER EVER AGAIN!

Breakfast was subpar
Feb 19th Morning. They had almost nothing for breakfast. I usually booke this brand of hotel for their breakfast offerings. Their waffle machine was off. Juice machine was off. Soda machine was off. No muffins No Hot water 2 things they were able to resolve are. No milk and no jelly. They need to be prepared for busy travel times like Presidents Day.

Nice clean hotel. No real complaints. We stayed out there and tried to meet some friends in Maumee. Biggest issue was securing a ride share service. That has nothing to do with the hotel.

We have been here four other times with minimal issues, but boy have things gone downhill! Poop on the toilet seat, bathroom smelling like fried food, shower drain backed up, cards had to be reprogrammed multiple times, dishwasher door was not able to be locked so had to be hand washed, microwave light was out, one bathroom was freezing, and the cart situation for loading and unloading was rough. The carts were small and the one we used was missing part of it, so we had to make 2 trips. Leaving we had to carry everything by hand because they only have 2. It took us 3 trips, which sucks when you have a baby. We were really disappointed. All employees had zero personality at front desk! Surprisingly, the other staff were much more friendly.

Not able to check in
We were unable to check in to this hotel. We arrived at midnight and waited for well over 2 hours (along with multiple other people) and no one was working the front desk. We checked everywhere. Local police was even called yo come check things out. After waiting for over 2 hours we gave up and had to find another hotel to check in to for the night. Can provide police report number and case # with IHG hotels if required. NOT IMPRESSED!!!!

We got there to check in at 11:55pm. There was NO ONE at the counter. We waited for 50 minutes and then finally left to make the 3 hour drive home in the middle of the night. There were several other families trying to check in as well which also finally just left. Incredibly frustrated - have never had this experience. Will be expecting a refund.

We were at the hotel basically to sleep- room was clean and bed was comfy. We had to be out early next morning and Very disappointed that breakfast did not start until 7:30 and when asked if there was anything we could just grab since we had to leave before 7, the front desk said no. One of the reasons we chose this place was free continental breakfast and assumed that by 7 something would be available. Very disappointed as I would have chosen a different hotel should I have know this.
