Don't be fooled by the fancy exterior! There is nothing 'superior' about the superior room. Very small, second story looking out over an alleyway to a parking garage, and a ledge placed so badly, you can't even stand up in the shower. The nice man at the check-in brought us to the self check-in machines and then guided us through every step. Why not just check us in? And don't even get me started on the room codes - what happened to the good old cards? Breakfast is quite pricey but has a wide and tasty variety.

Good hotel with small rooms but we had a triple room, so its a similar size as other Hotels I stayed in Tokyo. You need to calculate 15 min walking from shinjuku station. Very helpful staff in case of questions or requests.

Problemloser und unkomplizierter Check In. Das Zimmer war aber schon bei Bezug nicht wirklich sauber (die Tassen für im Zimmer wirkten nicht sauber und wurden am Folgetag leider auch nicht gewechselt nach der Nutzung). Das Zimmer war geräumig und gut ausgestattet

Our stay here was perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was great and we got fresh towels and two bottlesnof water everyday. The mini fridge was working perfectly so we could also store some food and fruits we bought the day before. Tochomae station is a 5 minute walk away, so transfer in to any possible route is quick and easy. Loved it there!

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice little bakery in the hotel, room size was ok but not with a lot of luggage. The location is slightly inconvenient, as it’s 15min from the station and the direct bus stops running at 10pm.

Sehr gute Lage für Ausflüge in die Stadt. Das Doppelzimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten war zweckmäßig eingerichtet, leider fehlt ein Schrank für Kleidung, so dass man aus seinem Koffer leben muss. Service und Sauberkeit waren einwandfrei. Für die nächste Reise würde ich dieses Hotel wieder buchen ;)

Gepflegtes Hotel am Eande von Shinjuku. 10Minuten fussläufig zur Shinjuku Station. Im Sommer muss man sich das überlegen. Zimmer deutlich kleiner als internationaler Standard. Waren nur mit Handgepäck unterwegs, deshalb ok. Mit großen Kofffern wird sehr eng. Restaurant und Hotel gehörenn nicht zusammen. Im Restaurant super nette und emsige Staff.

Nice hotel, friendly staff but busy atmosphere
If you arrive from Shinjuku station it will be a 15min walk to the hotel, which is okay. Situated right at the Shinjuku park in a quieter part of Shinjuku, 5min from the Metropolitan Government Building where you can visit the assembly hall and enjoy a great view of the city from observation areas for free. There’s a convenience store almost next to the hotel. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and spacious enough for Tokyo standards. There are 3 coin washing machines and dryers but beware that they might be occupied most of the time, we waited for hours just to use one. What we didn’t enjoy was the kind of “busy”, not so cozy atmosphere. It could’ve been the layout of the hotel as there’s a bakery on the left, a bar on the right and sitting areas right in front of you when you enter the building. It felt like it was crowded from all sides at all lounge areas at all times, also with people that might not even be hotel guests. Of course you’ll meet many people in such a busy city and some may enjoy it or not mind too much but as for us the vibe we had of the hotel was a little uncomfortable.

Das Hotel ist super gelegen, Shinjuku Station gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Es befindet sich eine gute Bäckerei darin und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer waren aussreichend gross. 3 Minuten zu Fuss befinden sich Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, ATM.

An interesting hotel to stay in, with a very modern feel to the interior and clean modern rooms. The rooms are small, especially if you are used to larger western style room, but they are comfortable and have all the amenities you would expect. The location was the biggest downside, just far enough from any of the major transportation hubs that it meant a walk or bus to get anywhere. With so much to see and do in Shinjuku, the time spent getting to and from the hotel does add up. Super friendly staff who were incredibly helpful!

The breakfast, especially the bread, is not to be missed. The hotel staff are welcoming and kind. The hotel itself is modern and comfortable. The one main drawback is the size of the rooms - would not recommend if you are staying for an extended trip (we stayed for just 2 nights, which was fine). Overall would recommend for short stays.

Loved staying here, it has a great mix of a good locations, a very fun modern aesthetic, super helpful English speaking staff and good amenities. (MORETHAN BAKERY was such a time saver.) The area around Shinjuku Central Park is lovely to stay in as it's not too far from anything in Tokyo (especially if you use busses) but is also in a nice low key area to give you a break from the chaos.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Knot in Tokyo. The room is very small, as expected in Tokyo. We knew what to expect and managed without issue. We didn’t partake in the breakfast, choosing instead to eat at the bakery in the lobby of the building. It’s a wonderful bakery and there is lots of seating in the lobby. The hotel is within easy walking distance of shopping, restaurants and trains. Taxis are readily availability out front as well. We would happily recommend this hotel and stay here again if we return to Tokyo.

The bathrooms had a huge step into them which was quite dangerous. My wife and I are in our 70s and we both stumbled at times. Also the railing on the wall instead of a wardrobe was arkward to use. My wife had to use a chair for her CPAP machine as there was no bedside table, although the room pictured when we booked showed one. The bed was against one wall so I moved it out so I could get into bed without having to climb in instead of over the bed to get in and out of bed.. The location was good and would be happy to stay there again but would go to a larger room option.
