„As soon as I opened the door to my room a strong urine smell hit me. Even with an open window the smell did not go away. The pictures indicated a sink in the room which was not there. The bathrooms were okay and the staff was friendly but very short with explaining the hotel and surroundings. The price of course was cheap but for me not worth it and I would not stay there again.“

Das lag wohl auch daran, dass Maitland nicht im Herzen der Hunter Valley Sehenswürdigkeiten liegt. Wer wirklich das Hunter Valley mit seinem Gardens und den Winzern anschauen will, der sollte eher ein Hotel In Proserpine oder Cessnock suchen.“

„Great little stop over for one or two nights. Rooms are clean and well maintained, there is a bar and cafe onsite and many dining and shopping options within 10 min drive. Would recommend.“

„Quiet frièndly place“

„We had a lovely stay overnight in a beautiful cabin beside the main house. The owners were absolutely lovely people and certainly made us feel welcome. Thoroughly recommend.“

„Check-in war eine Katastrophe. Da es keine Rezeption gibt, wird normalerqeise eine Email für den Check-in geschickt. In unserem Fall jedoch nicht. Wir standen also vor verschlossener Tür und mussten erstmal vor yort den Check-in über einen Weblink machen. Danach haben wir eine SMS erhalten, der einen Zugangscode enthalten sollte. Tat es aber nicht. Also wieder das Callcenter kontaktiert und dann endlich den Code erhalten. Der Spaß hat insgesamt 40 Minuten gedauert. Zimmer war ok. Leider konnten ...
