Great stay
The property was very clean and comfortable. Mark was very thoughtful to text me on the day of checkin to make sure I copied down the instructions. Mobile network was a problem, which he warned me in advance, so we came prepared. The recommendation to hike to salt creek was the best. My family enjoyed the walk and kids had fun in the nice little creek. The property is in a perfect location to drive up the mountain to see the giant groove. Overall it was a beautiful and a pleasant stay.

Perfect Location

Wonderful, close to the NP, house
The house was clean, stocked with basics, also had snacks and a bottle of wine for us! The living area was great to watch movies with my family. There were 2 bathrooms, which made it easier for us to all get ready. There were deer and California Bluebirds that were on the property, especially in the am. The stars at night were so visible due to not a lot of street lights. We loved our stay at this house!

Excellent Location
Traveled from Sarasota, FL for a family vacation to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon. Stayed at the Blue Jay and had an enjoyable experience. The Blue Jay was in an excellent location, only a 15 minute drive, to the entrance of the park. Mark was very responsive when we requested extra supplies as well as instructions to check in. The house/property was well maintained and in a quiet neighborhood. We had plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked. We were also provided with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each bathroom. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! This was greatly appreciated after long days of hiking. Thank you for making our vacation amazing!

Perfect location!
This house is the perfect location for a visit to Sequoia National Park. There is also a great hiking trail within the neighborhood. Thoroughly enjoyed dinners on the patio. Saw wild turkeys and deer right off the patio. Would definitely stay here again.

Definitely a Return Place.
Our only difficulty was the street sign name change was a bit confusing, especially arriving after dark because there are no lights at the cross road exchange. Next time we know to bring more groceries as we didn't see any places to shop for them nearby. But the house had everything we needed except: more blankets, we wanted to get cozy on the couch will watching TV & didn't want to keep turning the heater up & couldn't use the fire place. Also, an Air Fryer would be useful for faster meal preparation.

Thanks Dana for your interesting input. The Oak Dr. Road signage has been the same forever (no change) and my directions are very clear. Sorry you had a problem finding the 'Jay'. Yes, there are no streetlights in or neck of the woods at all. That's one of the main things that our guests like about being here in the country! An air fryer, no comment :) Best regards, Mark

Three rivers
Your home was excellent!!! It was very clean and comfortable unfortunately we did not to get to spend too much time there we got there late at night and left pretty early in the morning….but we did have 8 deer in the front yard in the morning which was pretty cool. I would definitely recommend staying there to anyone who wants to stay in that area.

Would stay again!
Although we only had a brief stay for one evening, it was definitely a place we could have stayed longer. Big COMFY couch to relax following a busy day of hiking, three comfy bedrooms. Host left us snacks/wine which we didn't use but were greatly appreciated. Short drive to restaurants/brewery. Close to southern park entrance and a definite recommendation if you are visiting Sequoia National Park!

Close proximity to the park and restaurants/ markets in town. Spacious home to relax in with all the comforts of home available to you. Would absolutely recommend staying there and would stay again if in the area!

Great spot in Three Rivers
We had a great time at this quiet retreat in Three Rivers. Our host was great at providing local knowledge about the area and let us into the property early too. Patio dinners were a highlight as were morning coffees watching the sun rise over the mountain.

Ideal location for visiting Sequoia National Park
This property was clean and very comfortable for our family to stay during our 5-day vacation. We appreciate the amenities and accommodations the host provided. The AC made our stay much more comfortable during the hot summer days. It is so unfortunate that the drought causes the grass & vegetation to dry up in this region, but there are still great beauty to be found in the natural setting of the Sequoia giant trees, the incredible views from Moro Rock, the peaceful gentle flow of the river... We had an amazing time and this property is just right for us!

Great Location to National Parks
This place was super clean with lots of room. We’re hikers so we hit Kings Canyon and Sequoia all three days we were there. The entrance to Sequoia is 6 miles from the property which was great! It was about a 2 hour drive to the Cedar Grove area in Kings Canyon. There was shopping and eating options in Three Rivers which is also close to the property. It was a great place to come home to after hiking all day… we would definitely stay here again!!!

The location was great - within 15 minutes of Sequoia. Very clean. The little touches were amazing-snacks, bottle of wine, lots of towels, etc etc. Great place to stay for Sequoia/Kings Canyon. Highly recommended !

Description was good and photos showed place well. Laundry room was nice bonus with good washer / dryer. Quiet neighborhood and few streets lights. Cleaning disinfectant was left for us to use if we wanted to spray and wipe additional areas. Great communication with Mark. Our children enjoyed the snacks and treats.

The house was exactly how it showed on the pictures. The owner was very responsive to my e-mails. The house is about 10 min to the entrance to the Sequoia, unless it was a weekend and it took us 1.5 hours to get to the par. We had a wonderful stay.

Perfect Sequoia National Park House!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Jay Hideaway! It was even better than the pictures. The house sits at the top of a quiet cul-de-sac and was just minutes from the Sequoia National Park entrance. We've stayed at a lot of vacation rentals but this was arguably the cleanest house we've ever stayed at. Some of the highlights our group enjoyed were the big L-couch and giant TV in the living room (perfect for movies after a long day at the park), the farm-style bench at the large Kitchen table (6 of us played Monopoly with lots of room to spare), and the outdoor patio table and grill. There's a lot of other things you'll appreciate in the house including big bathrooms, comfortable beds, large empty walk-in closet, adjustable shower heads, and a washer and dryer. If you're going to Sequoia NP, you have to visit Moro rock -- breathtaking views!! Thanks for hosting us Mark! We truly appreciated your attention to detail with this home and hope to come back again soon.
