French Countryside Villa at Dorner Family Vineyard

Perfect for a friends’ vacation in wine country, this delightful 1-bedroom, 1 bath, petite-villa, located on 20 picturesque acres of a working vineyard, winery and tasting room is just what you are looking for. This adorable French themed petite-villa offers a large bedroom with two twin beds, large closet, dresser, nightstand, side chair and table, suitcase stands and iron and ironing board. Off the bedroom is an adjoining private patio complete with comfy furniture, lovely plantings and a relaxing water feature. There is a second garden seating area off the private patio with a bench and lovely plantings: perfect for admiring the views and stunning wildlife that surrounds the villa.
The inviting living room offers additional sleeping, with a sofa bed, perfect for extra guests. The living room includes a big screen tv, internet and fireplace with another large window to enjoy the delightful views. This lovely little villa is complete with a dining room and picture window overlooking the small upper vineyard, beautiful outside gardens and dry riverbed. The cabinet in the dining room contains books, games, puzzles and travel books from our extensive travels throughout Italy.
The fully equipped kitchen comes complete with a convection/microwave oven, 2 induction tops and all pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, glasses and silverware you will need to make a light snack or delicious 4 course meal. The kitchen includes a full refrigerator, Keurig maker, coffee maker, electric kettle and toaster. Complimentary oils, vinegars, spices, flour, sugar and coffee and teas are provided. During the summer, we strive to provide farm fresh eggs from ours and our neighbor’s chickens. You can also step onto your private patio and snip some fresh herbs to include in your meal.
The large bathroom comes complete with a shower/bathtub, ample fluffy towels, towel warmer, full length mirror, hair dryer, numerous drying hooks and complimentary toiletries.
Decorated in black, white, grey, with blonde wood touches throughout, and a pop of red, you are sure to feel as if you have stepped into a lovely little café in Paris.
As you stroll about the property and admire our magnificent oak and pine trees, you are sure to catch a glimpse of our local wildlife: deer, elk, bobcat, fox and numerous bird varieties. Nighttime brings a special treat as you gaze up at the night sky and multitude of stars: something you can only enjoy away from the hustle and bustle of the city. And listen to that: peace and quiet...something you can only get out in the country.
Schedule a tour of the winery, or enjoy a glass of wine during your stay, with over 20 award-winning wines made on the property, and served in the tasting room by winemaker Mike Dorner. If you pop on down to the tasting room on the weekend you can enjoy live music and a light snack or lunch. Relax and sit back on our gorgeous Tuscan Patio while you enjoy a glass of wine or beer, while you take in the beauty that is Dorner Family Vineyard.
