The condo is beautiful and as described - clean, comfy beds, ocean view from the balcony, and the basics in the kitchen and bathrooms. The resort amenities include a junior olympic-size (heated) pool with a bar area selling drinks and snacks, and plenty of chairs. There’s also a small beachfront area and pier to watch the sunset, although the beach area is too shallow for anything other than a quick dip or young kids to play in. The tennis courts are lighted and good condition, and the facility feels safe and secure.
We didn’t have any issues except one minor inconvenience. A prior review noted that there were broken slats in the bedroom blinds. We didn’t think that was a big deal — but the windows are along the exterior walkway/hallway. Some guests had covered holes with stickers, but there were more and bigger holes when we arrived.
I was very uncomfortable when someone walked by and stopped to look in my kids’ bedroom through the huge hole in the broken blinds. I covered them with more stickers and let the owner know because it’s a maintenance, privacy, and security issue. (The blinds in the 2nd/kids’ bedroom also still have a pull-cord which is a serious safety hazard for young kids.) But there was no response from the owner. The only reason I’m giving 4 vs 5 stars was because this problem wasn’t fixed after the prior review and my message was also ignored. Otherwise everything is clean, works well, and we’d stay again.
