„I needed a place in Chester that had free parking and a bed to sleep in The George and Dragon Place fitted the bill. The bed was comfortable, and the shower hot. As it was a wet weekend in Chester the radiator produced enough heat to dry my trousers before going out for dinner. However, remember to turn it off before going out as it was like a sauna on my return. The hotel fitted my requirements but without food it may not be for you.“

„sehr nettes und rücksichtsvolles Personal ... sehr saubere Zimmer und geniales Hotel mit supper Küche ... “

„Clean and tidy, excellent location and beautiful views.“

„The nice pictures on the webpage do not reflect the reality, as these are from restaurant only. The hotel and the rooms are old, not refurbished nor renovated, smelling badly, bathroom old and not really nice. Aircond/ hester laud and smelling badly. We could not make use of the breakfast, as on weekends breakfast is available from 8am on only. In the restaurant, there are no prices on the menue for drinks - watch out, not to be badly surpriced! The only positive aspect is: convenient location ...

„Typisches britisches Landhotel, familäre Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal, Superküche.“

„The Jug & Bottle is a really well run establishment. Attention to detail in all things they do is a joy to experience. Our room was very well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of choices and high quality. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Our evening meal could not be bettered. The menu was varied with a wide range of choices and the wine list excellent. Delicious food and wine and very good value as indeed was the cost of our two night stay. ...
