This roomy, open-concept Tabernash home accommodates up to seven guests and offers a large brick patio. This woodsy locale is steps away from popular walking trails, and an attached two-car garage makes travel and snowy days easy. Granby Ranch and Winter Park ski resorts are within a 15 to 20-minute drive. Grand Adventure Balloon Tours Year-Round is less than nine miles away.

An expansive, open-concept floor plan invites your crew into this sunny, mountain-view abode. With new luxury vinyl plank flooring in the great room, hallway, and mudroom, and a fully renovated kitchen, you will have all of the comforts needed for a memorable stay. A gas fireplace warms the window-lined living room, furnished with a leather sleeper sofa and matching chair. Vintage skis and toboggans accent the walls and hardwood furnishings add to the rustic-chic vibe. A 40” TV comes with cable and a DVD player, or stream to your own devices with complimentary Wi-Fi. Sleek black appliances outfit the kitchen, complete with ample counter space and all the gadgetry you need for easy meal prep. The kitchen island seats two, and the formal dining area seats six. Cozy quilts adorn the king-size bed and the wall of the master bedroom, also equipped with a 15” TV. The large en-suite bath features a walk-in shower, double sink vanity, and a huge walk-in closet. The guest room is furnished with a queen bed and a full-over-full bunk bed, and the shared bath has another double sink vanity and a tub/shower combination. Extras at the property include an attached two-car garage, laundry, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The home is also pet-friendly, with a maximum of 2 dogs. No cats.

Outside, the spacious brick patio boasts an in-ground firepit surrounded by log seating. Roast hot dogs and marshmallows as the sunset lights up the sky. With Granby Ranch and Winter Park ski resorts within 20 minutes of your door, this welcoming Granby home is perfect for winter and summer excursions alike. Nice location and property outside of Winter Park. Only challenge was access code to the garage to get to the main house door (for which we had a code). Vacasa responded quickly to help us resolve this.

Dog hair thoughout the bedding the carpet and kitchen floor. Overall was ok. We came back one day and gage door was open that was shut. Someone took garbage ou and left garage open.

Just the right amount of cabin for us

The cabin was perfect for my family of 5. Plenty of room for us to spread out and chill after a good day on the slopes. Conveniently located to all the attractions. We will definitely keep this cabin in our rotation of vacation spots.

Great stay!

Excellent home and we were welcomed by a moose in the yard! Beautiful views. Well stocked kitchen and spotless. The driveway and sidewalk very problematic due to a very thick layer of ice. The number of stairs into home were problematic for us, due to knee issues. Absolutely wonderful home and if we didn't have the knee issues, we would be back in a heartbeat. We loved it!

Cozy, warm, and relaxing

At first we didnt have the right code to get in the house, but the staff worked hard to get us in the house. Which was great as it was blowing snow and freezing cold! The weather may not have cooperated for our itinerary, but the house was clean, cozy, and warm for us to relax for a couple nights. Will want to come back and see it in the summer too!

Lovely home away from the crowds but close enough to ski.

We had stayed here in 2017 and the property has been upgraded since then....new floors, new paint, partly new kitchen. It's very nice, great for a family, open, filled with light with gorgeous views. Mrs. Moose came by several times along with a fox. The heat in the property is ON all the time even if the thermostat is set to OFF. Contacted the property manager about this. Also the back steps were not cleared of ice and snow and that was never taken care of. They could use way more spoons. Things that are not supplied: napkins, kleenex, ice melt. These are relatively minor things just an FYI to anyone renting this property. The beds were comfortable, house was extremely clean, kitchen well-stocked. We had a fun time.

Nice cabin

Clean cabin with lots of space for being a 2 br. We were there a couple of weeks and John from VRBO was responsive about trash pickups and giving tips on the area. VRBO and property owner were also very responsive. Would use this property again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals which was nice. It was really handy to be able to do laundry too! Loved being able to vacation with our dog! The only thing that I wish was different was the master bed. It was SO uncomfortable. I had such a hard time sleeping on it.

Gorgeous serene location

My husband and I stayed here with our dog and had an incredible weekend. The location was new to us and can’t be beat. Easy to get to and also remote with terrific views from the porch and fire pit area. The house has not been updated in a few decades but everything seemed to work just fine. One recommendation would be to turn the front room rug - there is a corner that sticks up and is a trip hazard. Also secure most of the brick stairs around the fire pit. They are loose and will slide out as you walk down the stairs.

My First Real Mountain Trip.

Location was amazing if you don't want to be anywhere near big city noise and population. The Views from the yard are long and wide. Night time is amazing with next to no light pollution. Its rustic and cozy, but indoors and out. I recommend this location if you just want to get away from it all.

Girls Trip

The house was in a great location and was a really nice amount of space for 3 adults and a dog. The living room was a very comfortable area to hang out in and there were a lot of movies and games to choose from! A couple of things that made me not give this a full 5 star review... The oven didn't work. It kept tripping the breaker, which made our cooking challenging. There is also something wrong with the range, however it worked well enough to stir-fry and boil water. I would recommend some new pillows; the ones available were either flat or very hard. Lastly, I was very happy that this location allowed dogs as mine loves to come with. This may be in part lack of owner responsibility and not just the property, but there was definitely dog poop on the carpet and urine that I had to clean up once we got to the property. I will let my rant of poor dog ownership go and instead state, the cleaning crew needs to be a bit more thorough in their inspection.

Property could use some handy work. Patio brick was in very poor condition bricks falling off on the ends, very unsafe. Weeds growing over the steps & overgrown plants in walkway. Looked nothing like the picture as advertised. Oven as mentioned in previous post about loud obnoxious noise while using it, still has not been fixed. Hall bathtub backed up when using, would not drain & smelled like sewer. If patio was as pictured we would have enjoyed sitting out & enjoyed a s’mores by the fire. Chairs were broke & could not even use them. Probably would not stay again. Overpriced for condition of property .

The location is great. It’s secluded with a beautiful view, yet only 15 minutes from Winter Park on one side and Grandby on the other. If you’re traveling with small children the amount of toys and DVDs were a pleasant surprise. We also weren’t expecting the bunk beds in the kids room, which the kids loved. Be warned that the master bed is very firm. The cleanliness of the house left a lot to be desired. If you use the stove be prepared for a really loud obnoxious noise soon after it warms up the takes a couple hours after it being turned off to stop (leaving the door open helps a little). If the owners would invest in a new stove and better master bed and the cleaning crew did a better job, this would be a hidden gem.

Trip was good other than having no WiFi for 2 out of 3 days! The worst part was the run around from Turnkey after trying to get problem resolved. They kept turning it over to someone else. Then no one would get back to us!

Perfect!

The cabin was perfect. It’s older, which means it comes with older appliances and amenities but it was still the perfect place! Beautiful big windows that broadcast the gorgeous scenery. Lots of space and a fire pit just outside. There were toys in the 2nd bedroom that my 15mo old played with. It’s high up on the side of a mountain so the drive up in the winter was awesome. It’s the perfect location if you want to visit Winter park, Fraser, or Granby! We would def stay here again.
