After staying at another Neo hotel recently, i was disappointed with this property. The room is pretty run down, definitely in need of an update. The toilet seat was broken. There was this internittent pumping sound every 45 secs or so, coming from the rooftop or an adjacent room, it was annoying but not bad enough that i couldn't fall asleep. It did however had good hot water flow. The staff were friendly. The area was really quiet.

Upon checked in, I found an acrylic long nail on the room floor, dirty toilet tissue on the vanity and dirty toilet bowl. I asked them to give me a different room and I would be back in a couple hours when ready. They did. The room is somewhat cleaner, but the condition of the room itself is poor. Scratches all over the wall, dented and chipped furniture. The room itself is big with huge bathroom, but the room and the entire hotel smells funny. They do not use antiseptic cleaner to clean. It stinks. The hotel itself is very cheap, only $15 a day. So, if you are tight on the budget, go for it, the bed and pillows are comfortable, hotel room is spacious. But do know that this hotel has hygiene issues and you will shock to see how low standard they are to keep your room clean. Also, I stayed there for 6 nights and one night I came back to find out that the door room was not locked / opened. People can come and take my belongings if they notice it was open. I told the receptionist and they knew about it. Horrible place to stay. I moved to a different hotel since my trip will take couple weeks to stay in Surabaya.

Comfortable Stay
I am a regular guest at this small hotel due to location (short walk to the Gubeng Train Station), price and amenities. More than adequate clean room, friendly staff and good breakfast (as well as good room service). Never been disappointed - always a comfortable stay. Great for an overnight transition between arriving in Surabaya via the airport and then catching a train to other regions of Java or for several days stay to explore Surabaya.

Strategic hotel at the center of Surabaya

Nice hotel close to city center

Amazing stay! Definitely recommended.
I had an amazing stay! Everything was great with the price i paid for. Breakfast was awesome, they keep the food warm all the time (i always have late breakfast so i often got cold food in other hotels). The staffs are great and friendly! The room was perfectly tidy, clean and basically you have everything you need, the room just a lil bit too small. The location was perfect!

Lovely staff who will remain in the mind.
I went to Surabaya to watch the volleyball Asian Games.But the venue was Petrokimia ,not Surabaya.The front people listened to my poor English patiently. And everyday, I arranged a taxi to a distant Petrokimia.Taxi drivers also gave me a one-way trip. When I came back late at night,I had a warm welcome and it seemed came home.Thank you very much.
