River Run Cabin- New Listing By Watauga River in Valle Crucis! Firepit, Pet Friendly, Oversize Deck!

Welcome to River Run! This newly updated log cabin overlooks the banks of the Watauga River in peaceful Valle Crucis, just minutes away from all the excitement and fun the High Country has to offer.

Enjoy the main level with spacious great room featuring tongue & groove ceilings, stacked stone gas log fireplace, leather furnishings, and a bigscreen TV. Enjoy preparing meals and snacks in the kitchen with its waterfall granite counters and stainless appliances including a gas stove. There's room for two to eat at the kitchen bar counter and 6 to gather together at the table in cozy padded seats.

Time for bed? River Run Cabin offers two beautiful bedrooms, one on the main floor and one on the upper level, both with a Queen bed. There's also a loft upstairs with a full bed and single twin bed. The sleeping area on the main floor has an ensuite private bath with shower, and upstairs the loft and Queen bedroom share a full bath with tub/shower.

Kick back and relax on the main level. Enjoy the open air breezes and the sights and sounds of the river down below. Meals taste better outside and there's a picnic table outside along with a gas grill. After dark, make a bonfire in the firepit and tell stories while you roast marshmallows. Down the hill and across the street is the Watauga River, with the best access to the river being at Valle Crucis Park just 5 minutes down the road, right behind the Original Mast General Store!

When it's time to head to town, you'll find yourself 5 minutes to historic Valle Crucis, 20 minutes to downtown Boone, 25 minutes to Sugar Mountain skiing and downtown Banner Elk, and 35 minutes to Main Street Blowing Rock. River Run is the perfect destination for your next friends or family vacation to the mountains!

Additional Notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. The home includes a washer and dryer for guest use.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax per night.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- Pets welcome for an additional rent of $25/night each plus tax. No aggressive breeds, max of 50lbs and max of 2 dogs total. Please ask if you are unsure. Dogs only please.
- Please observe a quiet hour of 10PM as there are full time residents nearby.
- AWD or 4WD vehicles are recommended during winter months. Chains may also be necessary during snowfall.
- Parking space for up to 4 vehicles.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
