„I truly enjoyed staying at this property. My friend and I were on a research trip and spent a lot of time on the front porch working. WiFi was very strong and the home was fully furnished with everything we needed. We were even invited to pick fresh strawberries in the garden! We both really enjoyed ourselves and agreed when we have to do one more trip in VA we’ll be staying here again.“

„Loved everything about this wilderness retreat. From the adventurous drive up the ridge to the stunning and clean place and then walking the one mile trail through the woods around the house. We saw a baby fawn and lots of blooming mountain laurels. Then we relaxed in the hammock and after that watched the sunset from the swing. „We are lifelong friends who get away together a few weekends a year to recharge, so we've rented a *lot* of houses. Serenity is one of the best - very quiet and peaceful location, excellent hot tub, well-stocked house in terms of kitchen as well as little touches here and there. The creek offers lots to do and watch (we saw beavers one evening!). We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and have already made reservations to come back again!“

„What a peaceful place to visit. Wonderful views of the river, which was mere steps from the house. Had everything we needed for a quiet getaway Thanksgiving. „After visiting Cozy Doe last year, we knew we would return. We love how comfortable and peaceful it is there. This time we were able to enjoy the screened in porch - a great place to relax and while away an afternoon reading. The bed is amazingly comfortable and I even slept in…something I rarely do! "Nach den Bildern im Internet waren wir wahrscheinlich im falschen Hotel.... Die Bilder haben teilweise nicht der Wahrheit entsprochen. Unser Zimmer war in einem schlechten Zustand und sollte dringend renoviert werden. Insbesondere war das Frühstück eine Frechheit. Es hatte nicht einmal den Standard continental. Verglichen mit den Bildern im Internet grenzt dass schon fast an Betrug. Als Stammkunde bei hotels.com mit insgesamt Übernachtungen im dreistelligen Bereich, hat es das Hotel in die Top 3 meiner schlechtesten Hotels geschafft. "
