„Loved our stay, stunning views, nice 10 min walk down beautiful track to the beach. Good fully equip kitchen and teens loved having a few board games and picked a DVD from the huge selection. Room for the boat, ute and a van. One NZ reception/service worked good from this location. Left at 7am and got to watch a beautiful sunrise!Thankyou “

„Convenient. Quiet. Nice view from the hot tub to the lake and mountain in the distance over a lovely flower garden. Electronic lock easy to open but takes a few attempts at timing to get to lock. Full kitchen. Even milk for coffee in the fridge. Everything we needed but a washing machine. We’ve been traveling three weeks and I missed this house didn’t have this feature. Someone in maintenance inadvertently dropped 9 new nails and screws scattered across the parking but no harm. Highly ...

„A great location for views of the mountains and sea. The living area of the house is very spacious. Comfortable beds and ample heating for the colder weather. Care is needed backing out onto the main road. (Small cars can turn at the top of the drive.) Hostess was very good at communicating before, during and after our stay. responsive“

„It was a beautiful stay there. Nic was a very welcoming host. Breakfast essentials were included and thankfully used. The house was well equipped and clean.“

„While we only stayed one night here, it was the perfect location to get away from the noise of town traffic yet very close to Hokitika and right on the way to the Hokitika Gorge. There were only two of us but perfect spot for family with children or couples travelling together. “

„The place is fairly new with a contemporary style interior however there is only one heat source (heat pump) located on the ground floor; so, the upstairs bedrooms become cool overnight. The 2 nights that we stayed (Mar.19 & 20th) there were several ants in the kitchen and upstairs in the bedrooms and bathroom.“

It was an oasis of calm and we enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the charming town centre with its excellent cafes and museum. Can’t wait to return!“
