„The receptionists are kind and helpful. The room in japanese Style was nice too, besides that the tv is in a bad place, because you can't watch it from the bed. Else there's also a possibility to get free snacks and drinks in the afternoon, what I didnt know before. Thats good! All in all it was worth it's money! “

„It was my second time and I really love this hotel. The architecture as a gallery is one of a kind and all of the hotel is very modern and classy. „Unfortunately the hotel is quite run down. It seems like it has been a solid place but these times are long gone. It’s not possible to open the window, so the air can only be exchanged by air conditioner. When we checked in, we noticed that the toilet in our room was not cleaned and to our horror there were also finger/toenails lying on the floor…. They gave us a new room.. All in all it’s an okay hotel but not for the price and it doesn’t deserve 4 stars. “

„Die Unterkunft befindet sich gleich beim Yasaka Schrein, jedoch an einem ruhigen Eckchen. Die Hokan-ji Pagode in Higashiyama hat man vom Ryokan aus in 5-10 Gehminuten erreicht. Das Personal ist extrem Freundlich. Es ist ein wenig teuer, doch wir wurden nicht enttäuscht und bekamen hier die volle Ryokan Experience, welche wir uns auch erhofft haben. Vielen Dank und gerne wieder.“
