„Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, herrvorragendes Personal! Super Frühstück. Nachteile: Unser Zimmer war das erste im oberen Stock. Es war leider sehr laut, da das Personal früh anfängt, das Frühstück vorzubereiten. Das Hotel hat keine Alkohollizenz. Man kann zwar selber mitbringen, aber an diesem Ort und mit diesem Preis wäre ein Welcomedrink angemessen.“

„The Bartizan is a really nice hotel with a great view over the ocean. I had the tower room which was small and gorgeous. However, it was not perfectly clean (the fan was super dusty, my bedsheets did not smell very fresh), plus the water pressure in the shower was super low and the water cold. Breakfast was really good and was served in the courtyard - or on the terrace upon request (only advisable in early morning hours, otherwise it will be too hot).“

„We had an absolute amazing vavation at this beautiful place. The staff is extraordinairy nice and the facilities are awesome. Great variety of restaurants and bars. I especially enjoyed the huge breakfast buffet with an excellent service. Our suite with our own pool on the balcony was absolutely beautiful. There is a Supermarket opposite the hotel and Galle is reachable in 5 mins by TukTuk. Thank you for this unique and magical experience, we will definately come back!“

„Huge characterful and comfortable room in the converted old building. Very well located in the Fort area. Staff and service were very good. Nice bar area and cocktail menu. We didn't use the restaurant except for breakfast (which was OK but basic). In the library suite there is a huge bathtub (advised on arrival beyond the capability of hot water supply to fill) as well as a good shower.
