Ok place for a night
It is a self check in with lock boxes. That worked fine. The room was spacious and clean, but it got very cold overnight! It felt like there was no heat. There didn’t seem to be any way to adjust anything. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet.

solo stay was just what I needed
The room was very comfortable and clean. The outside by the road was a bit run down and so I went passed it because I was looking for something more presentable just like I saw on line

This property was very convenient. Easy self check in and check out. Very Clean. Not sure I would “vacation” here. Somewhat bare bones. That said, it was perfect for a one night stop over. I would recommend that the heat be turned up. Although I like sleeping in cool weather with covers, 60 degrees for a late January night in an old building was a bit too cool!

The property is essentially self service. This is not clear when booking. Arrived 6:30 pm. Outside lighting was not on (though was later) and no instructions were given for how to get in. We called someone who was remote and she walked us through it. Any signs were hard to see in the dark. Also didn’t see the hallway thermostat to control temperature in room. So room was chilly. No instructions on that either.

Property is charming and exactly what I expected. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. Huge drawback if you want to sleep well is that the thermostat is in the hallway and you should be prepared to not sleep because the rooms are like hot boxes in a sweat shop.

A nice property, very quiet with easy parking including very helpful EV charging. No staff onsite, though, check in was finding a key in a lock box. A bar or restaurant would be welcome addition. Rooms are older, comfortable but simple and small.

Clean and comfortable. Very cool building from around 1734. Great location for visiting UCONN. Will stay there again

The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The bathroom shower very small. Limited water pressure. No inn keeper at all on the property during our stay. Only available through phone or text. The continental breakfast consisted of store bought muffins and croissants. No jam or butter for the croissants. No oatmeal available even though stated there would be. Workers working on the property at 8am in the morning drilling and hammering…We will not be back here. This was not a B and B!

Such a cute little Inn! The bed was sooooo comfortable! Didn’t want to get up! Also loved the black makeup towel! Nice little touch. Very charming place ❤️

We stayed for one night as a family of three. It is a sweet inn with everything you need. The beds and duvet were very comfortable. There was coffee and some baking goods in the morning. March is still cold and not too green but I can't imagine how beautiful the area would be in the spring.

Room was super clean and bed comfortable. Odd that heat was on and it was 80 degrees out. Breakfast pickings were slim...plain yogurts, fruit, prepackaged muffins. No one around but manager was responsive and helpful by text. Old inn with creaking floors and doors so once someone on floor was up and about, everyone heard them. Cute, but not sure I would stay again.

I wouldn't stay again. There is no hot breakfast. Breakfast is left ready the night before and there is no variety. The hotel is very expensive for what it offers.

Hello Maria Fernanda! There is a lot of renovating downstairs! We also had a restaurant that time. It was a lot of hard work! We will serve warm fresh meals when renovating is done and restaurant is ready. Thank you!

A Great Bed and Breakfast!!!
Had a little hiccup checking in (my husband didn’t read the check in directions) it was quickly resolved. Super cute, quaint comfortable room. Extremely clean. Nice note left for us on checking out. Lovely grounds. Breakfast was delicious blueberry muffins and coffee for us. A lovely assortment of fruits and yogurts available. Would highly recommend this inn if you are in the UCONN area.

The Inn is a quaint historic establishment. It is very clean, very easy to check-in and check-out. A very well thought out breakfast is available to all. Many nice touches. The Inn is a couple of miles away from UCONN campus.

Charming night away
My wife and I were looking for a 1 night stay on Long Island 's East End. Prices and length of stay required shut us out. After a great day experiencing the North Fork of LI we took the Orient Pt. ferry at 7PM which was delightful as it crossed the LI Sound during sunset. The innkeepers were excellent in msny ways. Very Covid conscious and we felt totally comfortable in that regard. No surprises. We had king bed in slightly larger rm which was adequate. There were many extra touches that weloned us such as Dove chocolates, better toiletries, a self service included breakfast with fresh muffins, fruit, etc. which were individually wrapped in keeping with their exceptionally clean facility. There is an outside area for relaxing which we didn't use. The bed linen was inviting but we both found the mattress a bit too soft with the feel of a water bed. The Inn is a very well maintained older home with a modern bathroom. The pricing was right and we would stay again.

Sweet and comfy
We enjoyed our stay at Springhill Inn, the owners were attentive, Inn and our room was spotless. They offered a contactless entrance and left breakfast for us, in keeping w covid safety rules. Attention to detail made this a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again.
