Stinson Getaway
Very cute little beach house. Easy in/out, close to the beach. Only negative would be lack of an oven to cook. Otherwise, place was clean, really enjoyed it. Would stay again, for sure.

We were allowed to bring our rabbits and our cats to stay with us (rabbits in an x-pen)-- very rare for a vrbo to allow this so we really did appreciate the trust. Next time we are in the area we hope to stay here again! Such a comfortable little place. <3

Seaside Respite
A perfectly-sized little cottage for two plus a dog. Dog-friendly beach just a few steps away at end of street. Everything we needed including an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand. On a quiet street, but be advised that Wednesday is trash day and there will be trucks traffic that morning.

Best place for a couple with dogs!
Perfect home with everything you need for a beach vacation getaway! Just feet away from the beach (less then 5 minute walk). Fenced yard if you have dogs. All the kitchen amenities minus a stove. Wi-Fi available. TV has the majority of streaming services, but also had an hdmi connection if you bring your streaming stick. We highly recommend this place. We’ve stayed here twice.

Cozy, comfy, and close to the beach!
My wife and I had an amazing stay here! Very comfortable with plenty of amenities for us. A fenced off yard for our dog to roam. A very short walk right to the beach. Did I mention the heated floors…they were awesome! I highly recommend staying here for a single person or a couple who needs that quality time with one another.

Tranquil Cottage steps from the beach
I had a lovely stay at his charming jewel. My dear mother had passed away recently and she loved the beach. I wanted to honor her memory and morn her loss at a pretty, calming place. I brought my dog and was grateful that the beach is so very dog friendly.

Cool Stinson Getaway!
Great little cabin that shares the backyard with neighboring cabin that works well for two couples with easy access to the beach... the dog friendly part of Stinson Beach. When not walking the beach with our dogs, loved hanging out in the backyard and especially enjoyed the fire pit!

A little jewel box
I stayed at Casita Azul for four nights to quietly contemplate my birthday and heal from my father's recent passing. I was able to do both quite well. The Casita is a little jewel box - the perfect size, location, and price for a coastal getaway. I appreciated all of the conveniences the property had to offer, especially a well outfitted kitchen. There are a few excellent restaurants nearby, and the local store sells anything you may have forgotten. I enjoyed sitting at the outside table with my coffee in the mornings, then my glass of wine in the evenings. I cooked when I wanted and dined out if I felt like it. The property manager, Colby, was professional and responsive. He followed up each step of the way, making sure I was comfortable and reassured me that he would be there if I needed him. The property was clean and comfortable. I look forward to my next Stinson experience at Casita Azul!

Access to the beach, hiking, good vibes
Cozy one bedroom, short walk to the beach, access to the best hiking. Cable tv and Roku were east yo use and great when we wanted to catch the playoff games. We stayed three nights. Hiked two out of three days. No oven to cook in but had stove, pots and pans, plates, bowls, silverware, good sized fridge, toaster. We bought food at the local grocer or take out. The town shuts down early so planning is key. Owner was accessible and easy to communicate with. Unit is a bit worn- could use a new couch and bar stools. Reading the other reviews was helpful and spot on. We don’t have pets but I would not have known that other renters brought theirs. Overall, it was a clean comfortable place to stay.

We are pleased you enjoyed an overall pleasant experience. The window blinds are all custom made and unusual in that they can be raised from the top or bottom or both to adjust view and privacy. Alas, this unusual feature causes confusion at times & people do break them for lack of knowing how to use. Lesson learned! New ones are ordered in the bedroom and I hope that helps! The kitchen table reduces to half size by the legs folding in. Our guests seem to prefer the bigger table space so we leave it as shown in the photos. Should you return please don’t hesitate to contact the manager with any questions or concerns while you are there. Glad you enjoyed the cottage and location. Best wishes!

Sweet Little Beach House
This tiny home is very well appointed and completely updated. There is an enclosed yard with outdoor table and chairs. We enjoyed eating outside. and our pup was secure in the yard. The property is a stone’s throw from the beach. The manager was responsive to our requests. This little house works very well for 2 people and a dog! We’ll be back.

We had a delightful mid-week, winter escape at Casita Azul and would certainly do so again. The driving directions provided by the host were accurate and the e-manual for the house very helpful. The location is easy walking distance to the beach, town, and hiking trails (we took advantage of all three). The bed was comfortable and the heated floors are the best! A perfect get-away for two.

Poor Property Management Experience
Arrived at rental at 7:00pm to find not cleaned from previous guests. Phone number provided from property management to call if any needs went straight to voicemail and were not responded to until almost an hour later. We had our dog with us and could not look into any other stay options, plus Stinson has little options available anyway. We live 2 hours away so rather than wait in a dirty house for someone to respond and help solve problem, we disappointedly made the decision to just drive home and sleep in our own, clean bed. Cell service issues in the area made calling again - as well as trying to seek help from vrbo rep who we tried to speak to twice and had to do much repeating on both our parts as his accent was very thick, and then the call would drop- difficult. An hour into our drive when cell service returned we had a response email from property manager. His response was that there was a calendar mix up with cleaners, the first night would be refunded, we could find extra linens in a drawer and change bedding, cleaners would come in morning. Our response was this was unacceptable - used wet towels in bathroom, used products in bathroom, unclean kitchen - unsanitary and not up to covid standards for sure- request full refund. His response was unable to do that. Multiple emails later, owner of property did the right thing and canceled our reservation and made full refund. Problem was resolved but experience and timely process to get it resolved was a bad experience. All of our previous Vrbo experiences have been seamless so this was so disappointing, and we have two vrbo reservations lined up in the coming months and are now worried about having a bad experience as both locations will not allow us to drive home if there is a problem. We also purchased the travel insurance for this recent trip - as well as the upcoming ones - and would like a refund for this trip as it was canceled by the property owner and we never got to have the trip experience. I have tried to call the insurance company yesterday and the wait time would be long so opted for them to return call and no one called back the entire day - not happy about that as well. We have stated at a different vrbo rental in Stinson with wonderful experiences. The owner of this recent one resolved for us, but in future trips we will never choose any properties managed by Colby Gilbert at Stinson Beach Property Management as his handling of this event was poor.

A Perfect Getaway
My daughter and I stayed at this beautiful cottage just a few houses away from Stinson Beach for a weekend and can't wait to come back again! The bed in the master bedroom was really comfortable and my daughter made herself at home in the pullout couch that made into a bed in the kitchen/TV room. We watched movies chosen from numerous entertainment options like HBO and Netflix to name a few and cozied up to make meals each night we were there. Downtown is just a short walk or drive but we loved being so close to the beach most. The backyard was comfortable with an outdoor shower and fire pit too. We were given clear, thorough directions at Check In and our host checked in to see if there was anything needed during our stay.

Cozy beach getaway!
We loved this cute little place a stone's through from the beach. Our dogs were in heaven running on the beach. The yard is enclosed, which is also great for the dogs. If you have escape artists there are a few weak points in the yard, but (especially if your dog isn't motivated to get out) it's a great setup to chill while the dogs run around. For us, the joy of staying here is relaxing at the cottage, in the yard, or at the beach, all of which we would want to do with the dogs anyway. The yard is a great setup to hang and relax, but for us the rain kept us from taking full advantage this time. The landscaping is beautiful and makes the yard very appealing, with a table & chairs and a fire pit. The outdoor shower is great as well (the indoor one is also quite nice)! One of our dogs gets very unhappy when he is subjected to a cold hose, so he loved the luxury of the warm water when we had to het the beach off him before going inside too! We look forward to coming back in better weather! It was everything we hoped it would be!

Fun 5 Days!
We had a great stay in the casita (two people and one dog). We walked on the beach every day- it's right there at the end of the street! We went into San Fransisco for a day, which was not difficult to get to either. We also just hung out at the casita to do work, which was extremely comfortable too. A+ trip!

This rental is lovely! It was perfect for me and my doggie. It is literally just 4 houses to beach. That was a dream for me, and my dog loved it too. The yard is fully fenced so I could leave the french doors open and she could wander out and lay in the sun. The inside is exactly as pictured and has a dishwasher which I think is a huge benefit on vacation. One day I walked into town and one day we hiked to the summit of Mt. Tam which is nearby. I was so sad to leave. I can't wait to return.

Charming Beach Cottage

Lovely cottage stops from the beach!!!!
I visited Stinson for my 48th birthday 🥳 and wanted to hike and enjoy the beach. This cottage was the perfect place for me. Just steps from the ocean and close to many trail heads as well as only a 12 minute walk from town. This is exactly what I needed to decompress and celebrate. Great pet-friendly beach rental!
My husband and I stayed with our dog for 5 days. The house is a short walk to the awesome, pet-friendly beach (only part of the beach near town requires leashes). The property is fully fenced making it ideal for kids and pets. We loved that we could walk into town for meals & groceries in less than 10 min. The only downside was that the kitchen bar stools weren’t especially comfy so we ate our meals outside on the patio table (which has nice shade). Will definitely be back!

Location can’t be better than this!
The beach is just steps away. The cottage is a welcome and cozy invitation to relax after a day out in the beach. Kids love it...they ask to return in the future. The amenities are there: extra towels, toilet paper, kitchen utensils—the shower stall outside is so convenient to wash off all those sand and if the two chairs inside the cottage is not enough there are table and chairs outside...eat and enjoy the nights away! Only one thing to consider if family have small kids, the counter-height dining table is not ideal but it doesn’t kill the happy vibes and knowing that the beaches is just steps away. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place for a few days!

This is a nicely appointed compact house that sits a 1 minute walk to the beach. We brought our dog and loved taking her to the beach for a walk early each morning and afternoon. She loved it! Yard has a nice deck and is fenced. Bed was comfortable and towels were plush. Town is a short drive or a 10 minute walk. Very convenient location. Colby was easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions.

Lovely Stinson Beach Cottage
This cottage was exactly as advertised. It was bright, clean, and just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. The kitchen was well-stocked to allow for meal preparation and it was an easy walk to town if I didn’t feel like cooking. Some road noise during the day but lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean at night. Thank you for a much needed vacation by the water.

Amazing birthday getaway
We had such a wonderful stay. Loved that we were able to bring our dog with us to celebrate my 30th birthday. Such a cozy spot located just steps to the ocean. Will definitely be coming back for another stay!

Wish I could stay here every weekend
My husband and I stayed here for four nights over Thanksgiving weekend, looking for a change of scenery during the pandemic and to celebrate a birthday. It was the perfect beach cottage for two people. The linens were all clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed with everything you'd need for cooking and eating. There was plenty of natural light which kept the place warm all day. The yard is pretty, with a couple of different areas to hang out: a wooden deck with lounge chairs, plus a front area with a grill, fire pit and dining table. The location is great - a two-minute walk to the beach, and a ten-minute walk to town via the road or the beach. Fall is a beautiful time to visit Stinson Beach. I hope we can stay here again!

Perfect getaway!
This is our favorite Stinson property yet! The close proximity to the beach and town, the gorgeous yard (especially at night with all the solar ornaments lit up), and the unit itself were all wonderful. The bed is so comfy and the heated floors were a treat. The TV quality is lacking, but we weren't there to watch TV so it wasn't a huge problem. Can't WAIT to return!!

Had to cancel due to illness. The owner was lovely abut it.
It looked good to us, and other guests who were familiar said it was. It was our son's 50th birthday and all the guests rented places like this. We were so sorry to have missed it, all of it.

Wonderful Getaway
What a wonderful getaway! House was exactly as described: clean, functional, and literally steps to the beach. Communication with owner/property manager was easy and they were extremely respond and accommodating. My daughter wants to make this our new Thanksgiving tradition. Truly a well needed mini-vacation!
