Welcome to your Rocky Mountain Sanctuary! This mountain home sits atop a hill with backyard views of the Yampa Valley. This is the idyllic place to retreat for a getaway with family or friends, any time of year.
Upon entering the home, you will immediately find the common areas connecting the living room, kitchen, and dining room. Guests will love the high ceilings that give a luxury feel to the home. The grand fireplace is the focal point of the living room and is the perfect spot to gather around for movies or games after a busy day in Steamboat Springs. This property boasts a high end projector (instead of a tv) so you can fill the entire wall with whatever you desire to watch (sports, movies, tv shows) and feel like you are in your own home theater!
The well-appointed kitchen is a home chef's dream with gorgeous finishes and a large kitchen island. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the pots, pans, and utensils you need to create a delicious meal for your group. Watch the snow fall through the large windows surrounding the dining area. The dining room table can fit 8, with an additional 4 at the kitchen bar.
Down the hall from the common areas you will find a convenient half-bathroom. Just across the hall is the master bedroom with a plush King bed, fireplace, en-suite bathroom, and a walk in closet everyone will love!
As you head upstairs to the second level, you find the other 3 bedrooms. There are 2 guest rooms adjacent from each other, both containing a queen bed and plenty of closet space for your belongings. These rooms will share the large hallway bathroom with a shower/tub combo.
The bunk room is down the hall with 2 twin-over-queen bunk beds that can sleep up to 6 guests. This room also has its own sitting area and en-suite bathroom. This large room is the perfect spot for the kids to retreat away from the adults to play games and have some fun.
The backyard is a huge highlight of this property. There is a private hot tub, and plenty of lawn space to relax or enjoy yard games with your family and friends. With views in every direction, you could also just enjoy a nice cup of coffee or glass of wine as you overlook the city.
Steamboat Ski Resort is about 4 miles away and a 10 minute drive from this home. Downtown Steamboat and all of the restaurants and shops are about 1.3 mile drive. Guests can also opt to take the convenient walking path from this neighborhood, getting you downtown in 10-15 minutes by foot (only .5 miles)! The path leads directly to Old Town Hot Springs. It is a bit steep, so watch your step!
For summertime guests, the Steamboat bike park is located at the ski resort, and Haymaker golf course is only 2.5 miles away!
