The Space:

Welcome to your cozy Steamboat Springs escape at The Rockies — a top-floor condo with warm mountain charm, an open and airy layout, and beautiful views of Emerald Mountain from the private balcony.



As soon as you step through the front door, you are welcomed into the main living area, where cozy furnishings, warm natural light, and authentic vintage Steamboat Resort ski signs create a true mountain-condo feel. The living room features a gas fireplace, perfect for turning on while the snow gently falls outside, a Smart TV for streaming your favorite shows, a comfortable sofa, an accent chair, and a small bistro table for two. Just off the living room, the private balcony offers outdoor seating and a peaceful place to enjoy fresh mountain air and views toward Emerald Mountain.



Below the spiral staircase, you’ll find a charming bar area that adds so much personality to the space. Turn on some jazz, pour a glass of wine, light the fireplace, and settle into one of the coziest corners of the condo after a day on the mountain.



The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a proper meal during your stay, including full-size appliances, cookware, dishes, and the essentials for easy breakfasts, après-ski snacks, or relaxed dinners at home.



The main-level bedroom features a king-size bed, Smart TV, and dresser storage for your personal items. A full bathroom is located nearby on the main level and is detached from the bedroom.



Upstairs, the spiral staircase leads to a loft sleeping area with a daybed that can accommodate up to two guests. Just beyond the loft is the secondary bedroom, featuring a queen-size bed and Smart TV. A second full bathroom is also located upstairs and is detached from the bedroom.



The Rockies complex gives you access to several great shared amenities, including two year-round community hot tubs, a year-round heated pool, a recreation room with a ping pong table and TV, a BBQ area, sand volleyball, and a small fitness area with basic equipment. The fitness space is a nice bonus for light workouts, but it is not a full gym.



Location is one of the best parts of this condo. You’ll be just about 500 yards from the Steamboat ski area and only two blocks from Gondola Square and the base area. The free city bus stop is also just steps from the complex, making it easy to get around without needing to drive. Downtown Steamboat is approximately 2.5 miles away, where you’ll find restaurants, shops, bars, the Yampa River, and the charm of historic downtown. Old Town Hot Springs is also located downtown, making it an easy outing during your stay.



Additional things to know: this condo includes WiFi, Smart TVs, one parking space, and access to an outdoor gear locker near the unit. Like many Steamboat properties, the condo does not have air conditioning, but fans are provided. The gas fireplace is seasonal and is typically turned off from May through November. No pets, no smoking, and no parties are allowed.
