The rental was clean but very dated and not well cared for. The listing says "Elegant 2 bedroom...". Not hardly. The kitchen had the basics but the knifes are dull and some typical items are not in the kitchen. Cabinet doors are off hinge.
Also, the fireplace has a sign "Out of Service". It appears the sign has been there for a long time. Also, the television was unable to advance beyond a disclaimer screen, arrg Very frustrating.
Also, my first night sleep was interrupted at 12:30 am by deafening fire alarm! When I was able to ascertain there was no fire or smoke in my unit, I tried to call "Emergency after hours" phone number which is given by the management company, and nobody answered (twice). I eventually called 911 and the emergency operator said the fire department was already at the complex. After about 15 minutes (seemed like an hour) it stopped and I went back to sleep. At about 2:10 am another alarm !!! Thankfully it went off after about 2 minutes. The next morning the alarm situation was the talk of the shuttle bus, with several people talking about the fire alarm debacle. The shuttle driver offered that the alarm situation has been happening all season.
The shuttle service to the ski mountain worked well. Bottom line I would not stay at this unit or in this condo complex again (Timber Run).
