"We had a great stay at the Hotel Riu Plaza Berlin during Berlin Marathon weekend. Check-in was quick and efficient, and Simon deserves a special mention. He had a genuinely positive attitude, was very welcoming and clearly cared about the guest experience. Our request for a quiet room was also respected. The room was clean and offered a beautiful view across Berlin towards the TV Tower at Alexanderplatz. We were lucky enough to enjoy both a wonderful sunset and sunrise directly from our window. The hotel also did an excellent job accommodating marathon runners. We really enjoyed the pasta buffet the evening before the race, and particularly appreciated that breakfast was specially available from 5:45 a.m. on marathon morning. Free parking in the hotel’s parking garage was another very welcome benefit. The only downside was that our room did not have a queen- or king-size bed, which would have made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, a very positive experience with great service and thoughtful attention to guests. We would happily stay here again."

"Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Hotel Berlin, Berlin. Personal wie immer sehr freundlich und das Frühstück empfehlenswert. Leider empfanden wir das Zimmer bei diesem Aufenthalt nicht angenehm, obwohl wir bei beiden Aufenthalten die gleiche Zimmerkategorie gebucht hatten. Die Sauberkeit in der Dusche und am Waschbecken ist verbesserungswürdig."
