Not complaining… but
The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked, Ice maker worked great! A/C was so refreshing after a hot day at the beach. So overall our stay was good. These are the recommendations I have for the host or manager. Towels were a problem. We had plenty of bath towels but only 1 hand towels and 3 wash clothes. I’ve never stayed anywhere that I had to pay to do my laundry. Shared laundry is fine, but charging your tenant was tacky. The furniture: it was not broken but was not comfortable at all. Much of the decorations looked like they came from a thrift store. My best description of the unit is like a college dorm or apartment. Thrown together to get by. The grounds were an eyesore, landscape overtook with weeds and patio areas needed cleaning. I am a true critic. What I have mentioned is NOT to hurt this host. It is merely to give honest feed back. The rent did not match the quality of the accommodations given. Would I stay again? Yes, with some small changes. Utilize the space you have by Replacing furniture in living room to be more comfortable. Replace the dining set. Start over with the decorations. It would not take a lot of money to make this unit a true paradise. Please take this as a constructive criticism. Only meant to encourage the host to meet standards of mature adults and not just college kids.
