Third time staying at Anglers Cove. Anglers Cove is right on the beach with lots of ocean front/views rooms. No stairs to go down to the beach so makes it easier with the tents, beach chairs, etc. Plenty of parking with public beach parking right next door if you need more. Great for larger groups.Unfortunately, 507 was the worst in the cleanliness sense. Just arrived, set something on the kitchen table and touched something sticky on it. Was easily wiped and noticeable so table wasn't cleaned for our arrival? Went to check out the rooms, and there was obvious, fresh red sauce splattered on one of the comforters. As in, not a set in stain, but fresh that you can flake off the sauce. How in the world is that ok? Found bunch of long hair throughout. Bathroom counter still dirty. Door handle with something crusty on it. Broken/loose toilet lid. Contacted the host automatically for clean bedding and to fix the toilet and didn't hear back. After traveling 12plus hours, we had to spend time washing our bedding (paid laundry/dryer). Had to buy cleaning supplies to sanitize the place. So what were we charged cleaning fees for??? Place was not clean at all. Host response, finally, the next day, was what size our bed was to send new bedding. You don't know the size of beds you have? Supposedly someone coming to fix the toilet lid...still broken when we checked out. No further response from host to fix the situation.
