The building has a lift which was great especially with luggage. The staff at the front desk were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location is great as it’s very close to the beach and lastly the parking was good as it’s free on the opposite side however it does get full in the evening but luckily there are a few roads nearby which are all free :)“

"I recently stayed at Hayden Hall Hotel in Eastbourne for two nights as a solo traveller. The location is fantastic – just steps from the seafront promenade, and only a 5-minute walk to the town centre. There’s also a nearby bus stop with connections to Brighton and other towns, and the train station is about 8–10 minutes away.
The hotel has a charming exterior and a peaceful atmosphere. The reception and housekeeping staff were very friendly, and check-in was quick and easy. My single room on the third floor was small but had everything I needed: private bathroom, towels, soap, hairdryer, and a lovely sash window for fresh sea air. The hotel was quiet at night, which I appreciated.
However, the room showed signs of wear. The carpet was stained and in need of deep cleaning or replacement. A used teaspoon had been left behind, and the duvet cover had a couple of small stains. The lift was very cramped, dusty, and outdated – not suitable for anyone with claustrophobia or hygiene concerns.
Overall, it’s a decent budget option for 1–3 nights, especially for solo travellers. The great location and fair price make it a reasonable choice, though some updates and better attention to cleanliness would greatly improve the experience."
