We’ve visited St. John many times over the past 15 years and have stayed in a different villa each trip. But this was, without a doubt, our favorite stay.For this visit, we chose Sunrise Villa at A Love & Beyond, and it exceeded every expectation. The views in the photos truly speak for themselves, but they’re even more stunning in person. Each morning, we enjoyed tea and breakfast on the shaded deck, watching Coral Bay slowly come to life. The peacefulness was unmatched. You could hear the wind through the trees, birds singing, and even the occasional (and adorable) goat.We especially loved the wildlife. Pearly-eyed thrashers, bananakeets, and hummingbirds visited the feeders daily and often joined us for breakfast. In the evenings, the sunsets were beautiful and even visible from the small shower window. Such a simple but incredibly relaxing touch.Inside, the home was just as impressive. Large windows and doors made it easy to enjoy the views from every angle. Although there was a TV, we never turned it on. The scenery outside was more than enough. The house was spotless, well-organized, and had plenty of storage. We also appreciated the selection of books, especially those about St. John, which added an extra layer to the experience.We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting the island. We were genuinely sad to leave, and would return in a heartbeat.
