„I have stayed here a few times since 2014 and it has always be amazing. The owner is great, the property management company is very accommodating and ready to help with anything and answer any questions. Everything is pristine and decorated beautifully. „We had a wonderful time, the house is located very close to Cruz Bay, making it easy to go out to the beaches, eat and especially get ice cream from Scoops. The house is well equipped, and has plenty of beach towels and chairs. We enjoyed the pool and the views from the house. I would definitely stay at this house again! „Mayling’s property is brand new, completely redone. We stayed on the ground unit. The tile is beautiful and has great bathrooms. The kitchen is nice..we did not cook but the space is comfortable. Smart TVs in all three rooms. This is a nice unit that feels new. Mayling also left us plenty of towels, paper towels, toilet paper, even beach chairs that we did not use, as we had our own. „Wonderful set up for two people. Very accommodating host. I reported coffee pot had an issue the first night, and a replacement was waiting at the door when I woke up. We used stove to cook in most nights. No grill, so plan accordingly. A/C in bedroom makes it very comfy. NiceKitchen and bath/shower. Be forewarned you definitely need a 4wd, and put it IN 4wd, to get up the hill…and hill can be slick after rain, so time it well. A view that overlooks car ferry area. Oh, and no need for alarm ...

"For the money we paid we expected a clean and dry room. Unfortunately the room was not well kept. It seemed to be very humid due to the AC that doesn’t run when the room is not occupied. There was mold on our shower curtain and all fabrics and shelves seemed to be damp as well as our clothes after one night of staying there. Continental breakfast meant one piece of toast, one tea or coffee and some fruits. I had to discuss that our towels are changed twice during a five nights stay. We really didn’t felt welcome at the Tamarind Court beeing asked if we really want our towels to be changed because we are leaving one day later anyway. The beach chairs that were there for free rent were standing in the rain without shelter and due to this full of mold and rust. It would be easy for the Tamarind team to place them on a dry spot. The location to restaurants and shops in Cruz Bay as well as the free parking were good. The cleaning staff did a good job when they cleaned our room twice. They just couldn’t do anything against the mold and dampness. "
