We have stayed here the last 3/4 years for Jeep the Mac! I absolutely love this hotel. Amazing pool and hot tub. The rooms are always clean and very nice! Definitely will be back again.

We were planning to visit Mackinac Island and the location of the hotel was perfect. The property was very nice. We had some noisy neighbors next to us that we could hear through the walls. Once they settled down, we slept well. Breakfast was typical for hotels, with nice views of the lake from the restaurant area.

I absolutely loved my stay at Breakers. The food breakfast and dinner was great. The staff (Chris at bar, River at Concierge) was very helpful. The beach is right there. Property was clean. The fire at night is a nice touch.

I did not like that the restaurant was closed on the Tuesday we arrived. I liked the fact that I could access the beach from my room. The rooms are outdated and need some new decor. Otherwise, a good place to stay enroute to the UP.

I’ve stayed at this property twice within the last 2 years. We generally go in late fall so it is off season. My only gripe about the area is there’s a lot of seasonal places that close for the off season so it narrowed what we could do around town considerably. The resort staff was amazing. And the pool and whirlpool was open 24hrs which was a huge plus. There was a full breakfast which consisted of sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cold cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit. We will continue to stay with this resort in the future!

Loved our Trip!
Went here to explore parts of St. Ignace for a mini getaway to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Definitely recommend coming here during the season, we came at the tail end of the season when just about every business was closing up shop. We absolutely loved our stay and our room was super cozy! We had a 1 room with 2 queen beds and a fireplace balcony that overlooked the beach. We checked out the Club and the pool / jacuzzi - both are relaxing. The Club had the perfect atmosphere for unwinding. Absolutely loved how informative the concierge was and the staff at check-in were super friendly too!

End of season stay
Comfortable, clean room at a good price for a patio lake front room. Staff were friendly and attentive. Complimentary breakfast buffet was good and had several food options. I would stay here again!

Gorgeous views!
We stayed at Breakers and I reserved a patio room facing the lake. Well I wish it was warmer, what a beautiful view! There was a beach only 20' from our room and overlooking Mackinac island! The room was bright and colorful. The breakfast was in the restaurant facing the lake and it was way better than expected. We will definitely stay here again!

I had terrible experience of 2 nights. They allowed Room 118. You hear all kind of noise whole night. Ice machine. People in pools. Walking and talking staff all the time infront of your door. You can’t sleep for minute.

4.5/5 We enjoyed our stay here! The rooms and view are amazing. We loved our in room hot tub. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I took a half star off for the breakfast that’s included with your stay. The food items weren’t label and the omelette contained ham… I’m vegetarian and took two bites before I realized. Their scrambled eggs seemed to be dehydrated rehydrated eggs so the texture was a bit off. I loved the waffle maker, oatmeal, and hard boiled eggs that where available. For those looking for a better breakfast you can’t go wrong with Java Joes located in front of this resort. (They are also super vegetarian/vegan friendly there). We would stay here again when we visit next year.

Overnight trip
This was a lovely hotel that is right on the water. The view was amazing from our 4th floor room. Just a side note, the restaurant that is onsite is a little overpriced in my opinion.

Loved the fireplace and balcony in the room! Clean & comfortable. Breakfast was great, too. Restaurant on premises is convenient and the outdoor areas seemed nice but it was a bit too cold out when we stayed to take advantage. Pool & hot tub looked good as well and open all day & night. I would stay here again.

Wonderful, clean resort.
Very nice, extremely clean room, great breakfast, right on the water, nice beach and friendly staff. The only problem was the jacuzzi was not working properly(cold water) our first night. The next afternoon it was fixed. Upon checkout I asked for a reduced rate for the first night, for the inconvenience. I was told the manager would contact me, as of now, I haven’t been contacted.

Enjoyed my weekend stay at this hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view off the balcony was beautiful. The receptionist was nice and I was thankful she let us know about a casino that was out that way. Would’ve definitely stay here again next time I come back to visit.

Nice couples getaway
Nice couples getaway. Highly recommend the lakeview room with fireplace! Wonderful view of the lake and relaxing sounds of the waves from private balcony. Nice free breakfast. Only downfall was noise from adjacent rooms and guests above us. Rooms need better soundproofing.

Worth a return stay
We were very happy with everything about our stay here. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The balcony view of Lake Huron was lovely, the restaurant and bar very pleasant, and the staff friendly and helpful. We will look forward to staying here again.
